Perhaps you would like to quote the answer I've supposedly given incorrectly?

Fuck it. No. You know what? I don't care about this game anymore. I'll be back in a few weeks.
This "multi-ball" shit is not interesting, it's simply confusing.
Good luck.

What's happened, Jamie, is that damo has posted misinformation to gain an advantage over the opposition. In doing so he not only managed to out-guess you, but has now caused you to make this rather silly accusation, and instead of making a simple apology and moving on like a normal person you've run off in a huff.

I like to participate in this as a guessing game.Octavious wrote: ↑Fri Aug 11, 2023 2:07 amWhat's happened, Jamie, is that damo has posted misinformation to gain an advantage over the opposition. I don't like to participate in it as a game of four-dimensional liar's chess.
I'm out.

The question master does not lie, obviously, but I have no control over the rest of you

Yes... But I didn't write that, did I?
The person who did write that happens to be (entirely coincidentally, I'm sure) the person who is currently winning

Point taken. You did respond "No" to dying a natural death

Re: 20 Questions - 6 Score and Akker - Multiball Madness
Yes you did, back in post 32. And when I attempted to draw attention to it you got rather upperty so I didn't push the point too strongly. After all there's no rule that requires you to be honest and you're perfectly entitled to cause as much confusion as you wish.
The baton was passed to han-shahanshah who pushed things to new heights in post 82, but I believe that was done primarily to get info out of me than to confuse his rivals, and even if the latter I felt it was going a little bit further than I could let him get away with.
But it was damo666's lie in post 100 that seems to have caused all of this confusion and made you all thoroughly overexcited. If it was an error it was unfortunate, and if it was intentional it was an act of genius. I didn't notice it, so couldn't have done anything about it regardless.
I have not lied, have attempted to be as clear as I can with answers, and peppered this thread with enough clues to sink a battleship. I admit to being somewhat irritated by this latest nonsense. The aim of the game is to guess, not beat the question master with whatever stick happens to be at hand. If you don't want to play, don't. If you want the game to be over just ask a couple more questions and within a day it will be, either with damo666 as the winner or someone else who has picked up on the clues and guessed. The levers are all within your hands.

Not sure what you're talking about. I didn't do anything in that post that was a deliberate attempt to lie.

From post 33 I guess he's referring to C10 which I why I changed it in post 58.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Fri Aug 11, 2023 9:39 amNot sure what you're talking about. I didn't do anything in that post that was a deliberate attempt to lie.
I could be wrong, it could be something else.

It was an error. I forgot to change it after cut and paste. I had it in my head when he easing FA though.Octavious wrote: ↑Fri Aug 11, 2023 8:54 amYes you did, back in post 32. As to the connection I think we t might be one of these (this is not a question, just musing)
All have initials FA
or more generally Fvowel
or more generally consonantvowel
or (and this is my current favourite) all surnames are of the format forename+s eg Williams Richards Johns etc.

The mark of a good diplomacy player is that their "errors" have a habit of being profitable

And this is why certain people are at the top of the leader board
Some interesting ideas, but the idea that the connection would be quite as general as consonant vowel is almost insultingdamo666 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 11, 2023 10:08 amAs to the connection I think we t might be one of these (this is not a question, just musing)

What sticks out to me is that you had considered John Hancock as a person. How John Hancock and Fanny Adams are connected I can’t begin to imagine.
