Re: 20 Questions - 6 Score and Akker - Multiball Madness
So we have four people!
A: Confederate general in American Civil War, college educated, imprisoned during or after the war.
B: American Revolution figure, in government after independence, “in legal trouble for expressing political views”
C: Late and lamented 20th century scientist, US citizen who held government/military position but is better known for research or hypotheses.
D: Female, the only European of the lot, died an unnatural death before 1900
We have no idea what she did.

Re: 20 Questions - 6 Score and Akker - Multiball Madness
han attempts to squeeze more info out of the question master by making some blatant assumptions and gambling on the question master being unable to resist correcting them. han is as subtle as a brick and not half as cunning as he thinks he is... but everyone loves a trier so....
A) Pretty major error here
B) One could argue confidently that everyone on the side of the uprising in the 1770s were in legal trouble for expressing political views... but as a little bit of assistance I can tell you that a war related legal controversy is likely why you will have heard of them
C) Kind of... science... engineering... same ballpark really
D) But you've already stated everything she did that she's famous for
Right, now that I've practically given you the answers I fully expect some correct guesses by the end of the day!

Re: 20 Questions - 6 Score and Akker - Multiball Madness
Hmmm... Am I counting that as a formal question or not?
Let's say that questions on the nature of the connection will count as questions in future, but on this occasion not.
The answer is yes

D may be Charlotte Corday, off a wild guess.
However with the name connection B could be John Jay.
