You know, I guess I over-reacted. Sometimes this website triggers me in a weird way, and you're right that's my problem, not anyone else's.
I apologise.

A view from the States: To suggest that Harriet Beecher Stowe was not involved in politics would be equivalent to saying that Rush Limbaugh was not involved in politics. Newspapers were the public forum of the day (= talk radio & podcasts) and she met with President Lincoln after the start of the Civil War.

I apologise.
As a person that is known for his cool and calm composure and as someone who would never dream of using such obscene language, I am extremely disappointed in you Jamie.
Nah!! Just kidding, never apologise for being you BIG MAN!!
I found it funny, I have never really understood why people can be so hurt by words, especially ones as funny as "Suck my Balls".
Keep up the good work!

Thanks, I appreciate the perspective. I don't know much about her beyond Uncle Tom's Cabin and her literary reputation, and the Wikipedia article on her is written in a way that doesn't overtly tie her work to politics.
