Only Vecna is powerwolfing. Ham is really just unconvincing with any opinions and rdr is lurking.

But I wouldn't say they failed D2.Bonatogether wrote: ↑Tue Jul 25, 2023 4:53 amthat analysis makes you look better i feel, but i can't remember scumteams ever coming into a day with one dedicated miskill they're pushing as a concerted group so i'm not sure it actually reveals anything. i don't buy the narrative that the scumteam has been attempting to conduct a massive powerscum campaign from early on in d2 and d3 and failing so completely to get the kills they want

For the record, I had really liked rdr's first day and night, and even if they were at normal levels of posting, it actually felt like they were contributing a lot.
But rdr's votes dovetail nicely with the scumteam.

I’ve been studying up lately on risk management. There’s a bunch of different names for locking in on your first choice just because you saw it first.
Go reconsider. Go reread my last scum game.
Go just reread the game ASSUMING I’m town and see how it looks.

If you ever notice me type "rdrade" then mentally replace that with "rdr made".Bonatogether wrote: ↑Tue Jul 25, 2023 5:21 ami don't understand, even with correctionsweetandcool wrote: ↑Tue Jul 25, 2023 5:16 amI spy a typo I. The 2nd sentence. This was a correction of that typo.

Re: M82: Magic the Gathering Mafia [Game Thread]
Anyways, ive allowed bunny to change my mind with his recent posts.
His appeals seemed pretty good to me.

Re: M82: Magic the Gathering Mafia [Game Thread]
meaning the only logical conclusion is that im simply wrong about 1 or 2 reads.
And im not sure where.
And im not sure where.
Re: M82: Magic the Gathering Mafia [Game Thread]
my current best guess is that the scumteam is Bona, kak and....HB?
is HB my wrong read? I probably guess im more likely to be wrong there than on Rdrivera.
But I feel I have decent reasons to townread most of the game.

Re: M82: Magic the Gathering Mafia [Game Thread]
is scum really just happy lurking and letting us tear eachother apart for a last minute swoop?
It seems so silly, but...either that or bunny is putting in a killer performance this last day.

Re: M82: Magic the Gathering Mafia [Game Thread]
Anyways, im the remaining PR.
Im only sharing this to take away the scum ability to claim it last second and cause chaos resulting in an auto game loss.
Ill share my role and anything I learned of the game at EoN.
Its highly likely ill again not be around at EoD so we need to reach whatever consensus we can about who we need to axe and vote coordinated way before that.

Re: M82: Magic the Gathering Mafia [Game Thread]
my current townpool is basically Bunny + sweet.
And im unsure about the last one, but my guess would be Rdrivera.
If bunny managed to fool me with his play today, good on him. Those were some genuine ass sounding appeals. Im not sure they were directed at the right person though, but if we get through today thats an issue y'all can figure out on a later day.
Just hoping I was indeed wrong on my gutfeelings on HB. Ive townread him falsely in previous games with similar bad reasoning, but I havent had any indications of him being a fake fucker this game like last game.

Foxcastle wrote: ↑Sat Jul 22, 2023 1:16 pmIf Kak and Bona are scummates, the theory would be:
1. Bona joke-busses Kak at the start of the game
2. Then shifts to Bunny and then ghug (perhaps opportunistically following Damo's vote)
3. 26 min before EOD, he busses Kak again. Before he votes, Kak is leading Damo 4-3, so this looks good for Bona if Kak flip scum, but he doesn't actually push Kak into the lead out of a tie. This makes sense for a scummate to do—if he's bussing, he either gets credit or he gets to move off for a bigger swing in the wagons.
4. And that's exactly what happens: Bona moves off Kak with one minute to go, breaking a 5-5 tie between Kak and Damo to put Damo in the lead 6-4.
Oh damn
Its the exact conclusion Fox already reached yesterday.
Is this simply it?
Re: M82: Magic the Gathering Mafia [Game Thread]
Like, his EoN reads say something slightly different, but scum wasnt aware of that yet when they entered the kill.
Id totally see Bona convince his team that noone ever listens to the dead here anyway.

Re: M82: Magic the Gathering Mafia [Game Thread]
I have a feeling this game will either end today, or be decided in a 3way between Rdr, bunny and Bona (where bunny will have a hard choice)
Re: M82: Magic the Gathering Mafia [Game Thread]
Did he neg me into town reading him? If so I’m impressed.Vecna wrote: ↑Tue Jul 25, 2023 6:30 amFoxcastle wrote: ↑Sat Jul 22, 2023 1:16 pmIf Kak and Bona are scummates, the theory would be:
