That's amusing. Only Hamilton thought fox was town and the rest of us had him in our scum pool.

I think there’s some theatre that’s happening around Bona-Bunny-Sweet.

I can’t pull good looks on the voting while off wifi but I think the looks back at sweet and Rivera are a star toting point.

I ... need to think about this.

in the meantime, I want to vote for Brian, so I thought of copying the name from the list, but that's not gonna work, and actually asking the gm every time is overkill and I might've been too emotional at the time to see that.

I still not gonna use the bot, so I'm asking my fellow players if the vote registered on the bot.

##vote Hamilton Brian

please tell me if it worked this time.

It did.

In general any abbreviation from the front of the name is fine. So “#vote Ham” or “#vote rdri” etc etc work.

There are also some nicknames that work for people in the bot but you have to know which. I’m honestly surprised ##vote Brian didn’t work. I expected that to be in the bot as a nickname.

Wow, Fox being Town legit blows my mind. Glad we all posted at the last moment because I think this is going to be so helpful.

I am busy on Sundays, not to mention it being my MIL's birthday, so I would appreciate no silly hammers.

Won't vote:

Vecna -- Vecna could very well be the fearkill tonight. If he's not, I don't know what to do with the chance that he could be playing a great game as scum, and it's possible scum is gambling that we'll turn on him because "he should be dead by now." If Vecna is the night kill, there is unfortunately little to read into that.

Bunny -- Not convinced that Bunny would be taking this tone as scum. Maybe. I think the main thing to say is that he and sweet are not scum together. Also possibly a nightkill candidate, as Bunny could very well come alive late game, in which case it may be worth thinking about who would do that. Probably not Rdr, but I think it makes sense that Kak, Bona, or Sweet could push that NK.

Hamilton -- Still not sure that Kak-Hamilton works as a team.

Would vote:

Kak -- I think he was saved D1, and I think he planned on avoiding D2 knowing that it would be shortened.

Rdr -- There's a possibility that Rdr helped save Kak on D1 and Bona on D2. I'm not sure he'd be that blatant about it, though, and it may be a simpler explanation that a townie was wrong twice in a row (which happens plenty).

Sweet -- Could make sense as a Bona-Kak teammate.

Bona -- I think Bona helped save Kak D1 and I think he makes sense as Kak's partner.
with now knowing fox was actually town, I can't believe he tunneled me that much. The bona-thing and the rd-thing for saving just makes no sense to me. Even if both are mafia, which I highly doubt, why would they save a town?

And I hate that brian is in his townreads. Regarding vecna, if he's town, he might be kept alive to stir up that fear, yeah, I can see that. Ugh.

Well the only really helpful is his read of bunny here, I think. Then again, fox is wrong on me. So I'm not sure how much I can give fox here. I'll consider his thoughts there at least for a little bit, I think.

thanks

you see my utter surprise that the vote didn't count for the bot? But lets not talk about that here, there's enough time for that after the game.

Meanwhile, what do you think of fox's read?

Woah, Kak didn't actually fully translate that German card earlier.

Care to explain this? "(c)1994 Zauberer der Küste" (I know)

The question is, was Kak trying to encode some information, was it an honest mistake, or was it a scumslip?

Thoughts? :?
this is just the part of the card where the company is placed. Since it was already in English, I changed it to German as it is pretty common in translations when something is in the origin language already to change it so people notice that. Like in manga where when people speak English it's put into Japanese.

To be fair, I struggled a bit with the word wizard, since 'Magier' could be used too, but then there is the English mage. 'Zauberer' sometimes is used for Sorcerer, but I don't like this translation, because 'Hexer' fits Sorcerer much better and while a 'Zauberer' can be a bit more in range than just what the English wizard does, it's more fitting in my opinion. I mean, maybe professional translators disagree, but that's what is closer in my native opinion.

Ah yeah, there is also the thing "von der" instead of just "der" (regarding the 'of' in 'wizards of the coast', but in German you can leave that 'von' out in that case since 'der' is already in the grammatic case that implies this word so it isn't really needed. And maybe I should've used "Strand" instead of "Küste", but "Zauberer vom Strand" (notice that in this case 'von dem' was shortened into 'vom') (and 'der' became 'dem' because of the changed gender of the noun) just sounds so comically bad that I just couldn't do it. And it sounds more like 'wizards of the beach' anyway so probably good thing I didn't change it into that.

I don't see what you mean with mistake exactly? Or did you mean the 'of'-thing I mentioned?

(also I waited just in case giving the mafia any information or thoughts for/over the code you mentioned and when I see you online sweet so you could react before EoN. But I wanted to post it so you can still react in case you're todays target)
It was just a joke (:

Well, we are really screwed as all town need to vote scum (and the same) today.

If the remaining PR have any useful info he should claim.

I was wrong about Worcej and right now I just feel I am missing something.

I feel Bunny and Kak were town since D1, but now I am just having a bad feeling I am wrong about one of them.

I liked Sweet yesterday but I still don't feel that obvious town feeling he thinks he deserves.

Vecna catch up was good and I could identify with some points, but this is enough?

Anyway, it leaves Bona that I just can't read and HB that is playing a lot less upfront which could be expected after last game.

yeah, I know that feeling.

I also had an idea just now: maybe mafia was hunting for the last PR. They removed ghug N1 and we thought it was because of his thoughts. Well, maybe partially, but did they choose him because mafia thought he was a PR? Maybe the same was with fox, just a try to get the last PR?

Well, maybe we shouldn't talk too much about it, but it might explain the choice. Well, they also could've tried to make it look like a certain person or group made the kill? But yeah, it makes you think.

Also, I hope for a great birthday at your mother in law (? if I see this correctly). Also no hammers are preferred by me. I fully need to reread fox with new eyes.

You get death-tunnelled by town all the time.

This reads fake as fuck

Eh, these are often just scum posturing anyway, feeling pressure they need to post EoN reads.

Why is rdr not even mentioned? How do you and I have SUCH a different view of the game?
