Re: M81: A Night To Remember [GAME THREAD]
I have a few points in favor of Ghug being scum.
1. Damo didn't vote him until he could tie. On d2, Damo flittered his vote around all of the possible wagons, except ghug. He pushed on everyone else and tried to start some wagons, but never anything on Ghug. That's odd. If he'd pushed for Ghug earlier, he might have been the difference maker. I think he was scared of bussing his last teammate and being forced to win alone.
2. People have been feeling weird about Ghug since d1. Lots of people, many of whom we now know must be town (due to PoE, there's only 1 scum remaining), have felt similarly. This kind of collective unease is relevant imo.
3. Ghug's (D3, before the flip) defense of my (d2) push on Damo feels slightly odd again.
I have 2 major points in favor of Ghug being town.
1. Of the remaining players, only 1 is Scum. That gives me bad odds a priori.
2. I suck at scumhunting, and I'm only ever successful at sheeping better player's reads, so it's kinda crazy anyone would ever listen to me lol.

Meh, perhaps it isn't a fair comparison but in your second sentence replace "pushing" with "saving".ghug wrote: ↑Mon Jun 26, 2023 1:11 amWhat's the connection?sweetandcool wrote: ↑Mon Jun 26, 2023 12:58 amThis is rich, considering your last comment towards me.ghug wrote: ↑Mon Jun 26, 2023 12:30 am
That's a strawman. You don't have to name a "serious case" to be earnestly pushing someone.
I know aaro and I are town, and I suspect damo is scum, so I struggle to see a scum motivation for what you're calling opportunism.
I'll repeat, though: What's opportunistic about it?

Re: M81: A Night To Remember [GAME THREAD]
Anyone get the feeling ghug was using D3 as an opportunity to push a sweetandcool MK?
Maybe it's hogwash and VCA amongst other things will clear him when I analyze it, but he seems hellbent on being suspicious.

You might be right, or you might be scum. I'll probably have a better idea once I find the time to assess the game state.Ezio wrote: ↑Mon Jun 26, 2023 3:14 amI have a few points in favor of Ghug being scum.

I just mean I haven't had the chance to update. I'm not claiming you are Mafia or something, I'm not picking on you or your opinion. In fact, I'm acknowledging that you might be right.Ezio wrote: ↑Mon Jun 26, 2023 3:59 amLol whatever dude. Re: M81: A Night To Remember [GAME THREAD]
The part about you maybe being scum is simply because that was my read on you before, and I haven't had a chance to update that opinion. Understand?sweetandcool wrote: ↑Mon Jun 26, 2023 4:02 amI just mean I haven't had the chance to update. I'm not claiming you are Mafia or something, I'm not picking on you or your opinion. Sure. Your phrasing felt odd. I also find it weird considering I'm pushing the guy you were voting for yesterday lol.sweetandcool wrote: ↑Mon Jun 26, 2023 4:03 amThe part about you maybe being scum is simply because that was my read on you before, and I haven't had a chance to update that opinion. Re: M81: A Night To Remember [GAME THREAD]
Anyway Chaqa totally defended him here despite a certain flip incoming to make himself seem like lost town. He's the one.

These ghug cases are flimsier than a logitech controller below sea level
Re: M81: A Night To Remember [GAME THREAD]

You had N0 chat so I feel like heavy bussing was more likely than usual.
Re: M81: A Night To Remember [GAME THREAD]
Is there a history of vecna saying he scumreads damo and ghug and then he never actually votes damo?
