I don't see much reason not to give the people who don't want to hammer yet until closer to 24 hours. If discussion dies off, I'll go early, but there's no need to rush it either.

Captain's Log
2248.11.1

It seems I should have waited a little before submitting the last entry...

Just a couple short hours after my last report, the dive team relocated the Fortress! But its recapture raises many more questions than answers...

One of the solo pods we dispersed reported seeing strange lights on the edge of vision, and followed the light source almost a kilometer out - risky, given that the effective range of those pods is one kilometer. He reported that he found the Fortress, sitting again atop a rocky pillar, eerily reminiscent of how we initially found it just a couple weeks back.

The catch: the Titan was stationed directly above the last known point of the wreckage... a kilometer away. We have no explanation for how the Fortress could have moved that far away.

And as if things weren't weird enough, the cave team found more remains... and the strangest yet. They found a passage that had been abruptly sealed with rocks, almost like a cave-in, but unquestionably the result of deliberate placement. The passageway was airtight; poor bloke probably suffocated in there. An oddly well-preserved metallic case carried the unmistakable insignia of the Republican Separatists, a terrorist faction from centuries past. Were there Republicans on board the ship?

Every answer creates three new questions. The team is starting to wonder whether this wreckage was the result of an accident as officially claimed...

Victor Hallman
Commanding Officer, HMS Titan

DAMO666 has DIED. He was a REPUBLICAN [mafia]!

Night has begun. Next deadline is at 6pm tomorrow. Bot update soontm.
