I get the vibes that ghug doesn’t like worcej.
Has Jamie posted since their initial post asking if we can post? I assume he felt intimidated by all the math (or more likely it was just his bed time).

Hamilton is a naturally scummy player, but I agree on RHK being off.

This is why I suggested (in sign up) that a Mass Claim was a good idea for town.Chaqa wrote: ↑Wed Jun 21, 2023 3:51 pmMafia cannot be paired togetherJamiet99uk wrote: ↑Wed Jun 21, 2023 3:48 pmTell us more about the stated goal of breaking up pairs.Chaqa wrote: ↑Wed Jun 21, 2023 2:57 pm
I think it's a small enough list to be reasonable but given the mechanics of this game I think it's probably more useful to be a little more flexible.
I've been thinking about it and I think our goal is just to break up pairs.
Although I don't want to vote worcej, because I put him through some really stressful stuff in the pregame chat and he came off pretty towny.
Ergo each mafia we kill is a clear town
However various people including Ghug have shot a massclaim down.
Thoughts?

I’m going to be offline for the next 2.5 hours; here at theatre with my nephew to see the Flash.

Re: M81: A Night To Remember [GAME THREAD]
Reasoning is, Hamilton likes Vecna townreading DemonRHK and lists vecna as trending up.
Then when vecna is shading Jamie and myself, he now sees vecna wagon growing, and sees an opportunity and tells us to "remember vecna" shading us. Which in my mind means, RHK is not being voted, this is fine, lets now drive up a wagon on vecna and shift focus away from my buddy RHK altogether.
I have not considered why scum hamilton is hard townreading worcej and chaqa, and I would be really shocked if worcej was scum. But I could see the way hamilton wrote his posts about chaqa being scum hard defenses on fellow scum. If you reread what he said he never at all assumes chaqa would meme as mafia. He said maybe chaqa would do this to try to get miskilled.
To me thats not a natural read to have. Thats a forced read. Most of these are forced reads, and to make matters more obvious they are reads that are forcing themselves to be null when the stated reasoning clearly indicates he thinks the person is town, see examples like his take on ghug, his take on ezio.
then in his revised reads DemonRHK is just nonexistant.
And there is also no revised thoughts on rdrivera either.
I would assume scum Hamilton would force at least one of his mafia buddies to be pushed into his townreads. And chaqa fits that slot very well. Alternatively, I would have to seriously rethink the game if worcej is mafia, but it isnt totally impossible.
I still think this is a hit

My gut thoughts haven’t really altered from yesterday. I think going the D1 vote with a consensus choice is fine. Hope to check in around 2:30pm ESt.

I'm sorry, but a DnD adventure where my party and I setup a brewery or inn would be fucking awesome considering all the potential shenanigans that could occur in itJamiet99uk wrote: ↑Wed Jun 21, 2023 12:14 pmTypical Americans.
A world of fantasy, magic and adventure is available to them, and they decide to set up a business.

Mafia already know who 3-4 of 7 pairs are, so it probably is pro-town.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Wed Jun 21, 2023 3:59 pmI want to claim then.Chaqa wrote: ↑Wed Jun 21, 2023 3:57 pmGhug is notoriously smoothbrain at mechs.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Wed Jun 21, 2023 3:56 pm

The ghug train could use some more railcarsaarodactyl wrote: ↑Wed Jun 21, 2023 1:51 pmI’ve thought this over a lot, and I’m fairly certain ghug is scum. I still have scum leans in vecna and worcej. I think damo may be scum but he hasn’t posted which (which I think is NAI for him).
I have no if brain is town or not but I think his posting is a net positive for town so I don’t think I’d vote for him.
I don’t feel strongly about anyone else.

This was already done to death yesterday. Pretty much, anti-claimers (including myself) generally prefer not to explain why right now.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Wed Jun 21, 2023 3:59 pmI want to claim then.Chaqa wrote: ↑Wed Jun 21, 2023 3:57 pmGhug is notoriously smoothbrain at mechs.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Wed Jun 21, 2023 3:56 pm

So I can't convince you. But I would like to point out that until Mafia dies, the ghost chat is clean and partners can be claimed there. And single dance chat is clean because if Mafia kills their partner D1, then they can't lie about the single dance chat because eventually a town player will be in the chat and able to verify any claims as to what the ghost chat communicated.
Consequently, there is no reason to reveal yet.

More town points for you.aarodactyl wrote: ↑Wed Jun 21, 2023 2:01 pmI’m assuming you meant “particularly”. Mostly that he seems to be trying to buddy me. And then some other vibe related things. I honestly think that d1 is just a day to share vibes and mechanics. Until there’s some flops, I don’t think you can realistically do much.DemonRHK wrote: ↑Wed Jun 21, 2023 1:58 pmDid ghug say something in ppartner that make you suspicious of him?aarodactyl wrote: ↑Wed Jun 21, 2023 1:51 pmI’ve thought this over a lot, and I’m fairly certain ghug is scum. Being a PR inspires a sense of confidence and determination to be a leader.
At least it does for me...
Re: M81: A Night To Remember [GAME THREAD]
Damo: still hungover? Maybe drop a vote on Damo to put them out of their misery.
Vecna: Was Vecna the parrot many games ago? I will say I mafialean Vecna here and pay attention to the shading of brain and jamie.
Rivera: short on posts, which is de rigeur for rdr. As I read their posts I feel like there's a hesitancy and forced engagement. null to mafialean.
Kak: They started out well yesterday, taIled off. Bulk of their content was mech. Then comes the disappearing act. Hell, Vienna is beautiful this time of year. Null to mafialean.
So what happened to damo?Hamilton Brian wrote: ↑Wed Jun 21, 2023 1:17 amThanks.
Brian: Vecna, Rivera, Kak (based on the aforementioned list of mine)
and sweet and cool?
This progression is forced imo
ghug, rivera have put their thoughts in but I haven't got a gut sense of their work thus far.
