I'm planning my next session (3 weeks away because summer vacations...)

My players bought a brewery so I think that will be most of it, trying to figure out what their next adventure will be.

I'll use this area to bitch - we're a 6 person party and one of the players cannot take the time to pre-plan her turns and literally averages 10 minutes of real life time to do her turn... it's pain...

My gf plays a wild magic sorcerer and if she isn’t sure what to do the rest of the party has trained her to use Fireball.

I suspect this will last until she finds a more explosive spell lol

Jamie is unusually calm from my POV. I would usually expect him to have lost his temper with someone at this point, but the late phase time could be pushing that all back a day or two.

Will I ever escape this tired trope?

Hi. I’m at work but I wanted to post to say that if you’re town, the odds that your partner is scum is 3/11.

Also I meant to spend time thinking about claiming partners but I got distracted by the math.

Well, there are 7 teams with 3 teams having 1 mafia, so 4 teams are pure town. Isn't the probability that, when you are town, your partner has a chance of being 3/7th mafia and 4/7th town?

If you’re town, you have 3/7 odds of being in a scum containing dance group.

There is a 3/7 chance that a group has a scum in it but there’s a 3/11 chance a town player is in such a group because they can’t be one of the scummy halves of those 3 groups.

It makes sense that Mafia got pregame chat for this setup, but I swear it wasn't mentioned anywhere in the setup. I am thankful someone asked and that information was revealed and am annoyed that I didn't know about it in the first place.

I will have to reassess the current dynamics and see how much that changes my reads.

sweet and cool was annoyed by finding out scum got a N0 chat and vecna wants to know why that would make him need to reasses anything.


I dont think this is all that bad as far as producing a smattering of opinions. They seem to be informed by what he saw. I dont see anything all that great that convinces me of anything however. Like all of these thoughts are 1/4 of what they should be to actually court any public opinion on them.

I think he's wrong, of course. He's been away a long time, and he's inaccurately remembering a conversation from a fair while back, where I talked about having to take a statistics class. The stats class was real, but it doesn't mean I *like* stats, or find them instinctively easy.

The person who enjoys number crunching is Damo.
