I'll use this area to bitch - we're a 6 person party and one of the players cannot take the time to pre-plan her turns and literally averages 10 minutes of real life time to do her turn... it's pain...

I’ve made some observations but I just got home from playing softball for 2 hours so I’m going to sleep and maybe post in the morning.ghug wrote: ↑Wed Jun 21, 2023 5:08 amNormally better but I believe he's earnestly wrong.aarodactyl wrote: ↑Wed Jun 21, 2023 4:44 amCan you rate their math abilities out of ten? I’m not positive he’s being earnest though. I’m generally not getting town vibes from him.

Will I ever escape this tired trope?
Jesus.
Potato, potato; potato.
Re: M81: A Night To Remember [GAME THREAD]
Me neither. I just don't think the math is the problem part and I'm starting to feel like you're just latching onto the NAI thing you can get fired up about.aarodactyl wrote: ↑Wed Jun 21, 2023 5:36 amI’m not positive he’s being earnest though. I’m generally not getting town vibes from him.

Re: M81: A Night To Remember [GAME THREAD]
Sure:
1. He has been present.
2. He hasn't done very much at all.
3. He scumreads me based on a poorly-remembered conversation about me doing a statistics class several years ago; he thinks I'm some kind of master statistician who should be outraged at Aarodactyl's bad maths.
4. That's all.
Potato, potato; potato.

Vecna is either:
a) Scum
b) Town who is not feeling engaged because this setup doesn't let him make wild fakeclaims.

Re: M81: A Night To Remember [GAME THREAD]
My dance partner and I declared a toast to the king.
He calculated the odds of having a scum dance partner as 23.1%.
He felt if two dance partners trusted each other they could scumhunt as a pair.
We discussed whether a mass claim was a good idea. He felt that on balance it was bad for town.
I used a German word and he asked me about it.
He suggested a potential town benefit to fake claiming partners.

Re: M81: A Night To Remember [GAME THREAD]
Reads list, if a player isn't mentioned it's because they are null and/or I literally have nothing to say about them.
Vecna: Not much to go on, but I very tentatively townlean them. This is my first game with them, but their vibe so far seems right.
Rdr: I can never really read Rdr, but again, the vibes seem right.
Kak: They've disappeared off of the face of the Earth since their initial appearance. They've been a bit too agreeable to other's suggestions which could be indicative of scum lazily floating along. However, they also posted this. It could be scum theater, but I'm generally inclined to view it as townie.
So with Kak it's a bit of a wash. Their vibe is possibly a bit scummy, but their actions are townie.
Ezio: First game with them, so I'm not sure how to assess. But they seem alright so far.
Hamilton Brain: Their support of Brainbomb and their weak castings of suspicion on me and Aaro make me feel uneasy. I worry they are trying to position themself as a Town Leader, but that they are secretly Mafia. Very slight scumlean, but since this is my first game with them my assessment may be poor. I also do not like this.
DemonRHK: Something pinged me about them, but now that I'm going through their posts, I don't see anything. Hmmmm, I do worry they are partners with Brainbomb and there is some bussing going on.
Jamiet: I'm actually getting a slight town vibe from them, but it's much too early for me to feel confident about them.
worcej: I have never seen them tunnel on anybody or act with such conviction. They are either Town that's convinced of their read on ghug or scum that really wants a misskill on ghug. I heavily lean towards the former, especially since Mafia doesn't really need to worry about who the DK is, since they practically have free reign in regards to the NK. Consequently, worcej is my strongest town read so far.
Aaro: We seem to more or less be on the same page with mechs. But I feel like so far everything they've done is NAI. Null read.
ghug: The most notable thing about ghug is that worcej wants them dead and that ghug is the only person to flip from pro-claim to anti-claim (I think). Given that I believe worcej to be town, and I find ghug's vibe off, I scumlean them, but it's not damning.
Brainbomb: I'm definitely tunneled and I really want to flip them. I've seen Brainbomb act similar to this way in M80 with President Eden, but now that I'm the target of deliberate twisting of words and intent, it makes it difficult for me to not scumread them. I'm going to make a separate post for a case on Brainbomb.

But it is extremely late, so I will have to make the case on Brainbomb in the morning. Good night!

Ok, maybe it's just me tunneling.ghug wrote: ↑Tue Jun 20, 2023 11:10 pmI'm sorry, I really wasn't trying to start anything. The goal was purely silliness and I figured we'd all moved past it enough that it wouldn't be an issue to bring it up.brainbomb wrote: ↑Tue Jun 20, 2023 10:58 pmI dont find that funny. I would prefer that drama from almost a decade ago be allowed to retire if thats possible. I was gonna message you privately but I dont know if thats allowed. but this isnt game related and please find something else. im sure theres other things to bring up.
