Ok, that I agree with.brainbomb wrote: ↑Tue Jun 20, 2023 5:17 pmI dont know if ive ever played with aaro. I talked to them pregame and they said there was all these crazy things scum could do with this setup but said they didnt want to share those plays in case he randed mafia. And I noticed that he is claiming he doesnt want to say what those plays are now because it would "give mafia ideas".ghug wrote: ↑Tue Jun 20, 2023 5:13 pmGiven that you talked to aaro, do you not think his play fits what he was likely to do early as either alignment? I dislike the lack of reads, but I'm not terribly surprised.brainbomb wrote: ↑Tue Jun 20, 2023 2:20 pmI dont think aaro and S&C are scum together. Aaro could be town and s&C is latching on because its a really easy way to not have to do anything at all, and just pretend aaro is some genius with all the answers.
there isnt going to be any accountability for scumhunting with this strategy as we have already almost passed the halfway mark of the phase and at least 6 people havent produced a single scumread, or been held accountable for their atrociously terrible scumreads theyve clung too
So for that I think he might just be hoarding knowledge out of having some sort of self indulgent moment with the setup itself. I dont find it scummy but it provides a great place for scum to sit beside him, honor him, respect him, and do absolutely nothing while getting rewarded for good behavior

I love this line lolghug wrote: ↑Tue Jun 20, 2023 5:23 pmAnd you were scum but flipped town for some reason.aarodactyl wrote: ↑Tue Jun 20, 2023 3:36 pmIt’s the game where worcej was judge and no one fought with anyone.aarodactyl wrote: ↑Tue Jun 20, 2023 3:36 pm
You’ve missed my rookie game. I think it was roughly
December 2020.

Ofc I'm buddying. I always buddy the players I think are the best in the game.
Re: M81: A Night To Remember [GAME THREAD]
Thanks. Nice work last game.
I read your writing as incredibly calculating, and I associate calculating with scummy in the early game.
I'm gonna lay off you and ##vote Jamiet until you make your post with actual reads. I await it with baited breath.

The existence of ghosts lets people claims when they’re dead. It’s a delayed claim since we would need to have a known single to relay the info but that seems final for early game at least.DemonRHK wrote: ↑Tue Jun 20, 2023 4:29 pmCome on brain, you know I full Streisand under any suspicion. Always have.brainbomb wrote: ↑Tue Jun 20, 2023 3:53 pm@DemonRHK
I do not feel like ive been insulted at all. Nor poked fun at. The LVP comment was surprising from ghug but I assumed there was nothing actual about it.
Otherwise all of my interactions have been about a 6/10 as far as intensity. Nothing truly heated has occurred here.
I havent been hammering away at you insofar as I made a case, and I happen to still think it has some validity. I really dont think ive been unreasonable, I saw vecna using some reasoning to townread you and I question that read but thats more an indictment on him then you for example.
By all means keep playing and if you feel like my boot is on your neck just let me know im being too much to navigate the thread under this immense pressure
So I have been thinking on when the best time is for a mass claim, if at all. Without going to much into it, as I would rather not discuss optimal scum strategy for them, I think it will likely be in the D3-D4 range, depending on amount of miskills. What I am curious in opinions on is claiming on the gallows. What does everyone think? I'm of the mind that uless it isn't needed unless there is false info flying around (which is something else no one has discussed)
Re: M81: A Night To Remember [GAME THREAD]
Unreliable narrators are a thing however. This setup still seems incrediably townsided with only 3 scum. That's a take for post-game however.aarodactyl wrote: ↑Tue Jun 20, 2023 5:49 pmThe existence of ghosts lets people claims when they’re dead. I don't see a reason currently for a townie to not claim prior to dying, although I should likely run the numbers to get a better feel on it. I may do that tonight after work and cleaning the house a bit.

That's like specifically when we don't want town claiming.DemonRHK wrote: ↑Tue Jun 20, 2023 5:58 pmUnreliable narrators are a thing however. It is Ghug's lack of shitposting that caught my attention.Ezio wrote: ↑Tue Jun 20, 2023 4:57 pmAlso wasn't this d1 super abnormal compared to usual d1's here? There was relatively little shitposting and tons of mechanical chat, as well as a pretty small game for less noise to sort through as well.
This game seems weird, so I'd expect everyone to be weird.
Brainbomb shines through though <3

His posts about his dance partner confessing to be scum are most likely fake.

I am not a good source to read Ghug, I am wrong more then right about him, but I did catch him sometimes.
This said, already talked about Ghug. I think claiming right out of start is townie (a bit less with N0 chat). And I dislike his interaction with Brain, but he already explained it, but it still look odd.
