Why we are at 10 pages in 2 hours? I already told my chat partner that I will try to play interacting more and less catching up so I might skip some pages....

I present you ghug, who is behaving/encouraging value in dead players when he has notoriously dismissed reads of dead players because they are just as likely to be wrong as live players.
Re: M81: A Night To Remember [GAME THREAD]
Otherwise, s&c is chiming in a little bit and aaro is being defensive about it with little explanation for his reasoning as to why as if it’s the sacred cow of the game.

I didn't got the Math (I am still on page 4). But I will assume you are right just because of the Bayes comment.aarodactyl wrote: ↑Tue Jun 20, 2023 1:33 amA majority of players decided I said some wrong math and then melted down. I think killing like normal is probably what scum will do, but I see minimal value to town in having all the info out immediately, and there are scenarios where scum can screw themselves with deaths in the wrong pairings.worcej wrote: ↑Tue Jun 20, 2023 1:08 amBoth of these are poop answers to me.
The first assumes that a ghost will stay in ‘purgatory’ to communicate all game and not go to the GT. Sure, the ghost can leave something behind to help confirm something but it’s not like the information is completely accessible to all and cannot be employed to confirm in a timely manner. And all they can confirm is if the scum decide to get ballsy and claim fake partners later, which can be mitigated now.
Second is hilarious to see from you because it implies scum care significantly about killing in pairs when most likely they are just going to kill obv!town players and people who are actually trying.
Bonus points: I find it interesting to see you putting some value into the ghost mechanic as someone who has typically put little value in the opinions of a dead player because they are just as likely to be wrong about the game as a live player.
Opinions and mechanical information are different.

Your manner, supports the latter case.

Just out of my council meeting, popping in to say hello.
This theme kind of rankles me, being more of the persuasion of the Republic of Ireland. However, I'll play nice and put on my best Royalist hat.
They breed like rabbits and multiply like vermin, is all I've got to say right now.
Off to bed but will attempt to read the previous 11 pages!
Tootles.

I just don't have a read on you yet. I like that you're pushing us to mech talk and I like the non-me reads, but I don't understand where you're coming from on the specifics of those reads and the things I like are super easy to take.

Fair about Worcej, he is solid town. But I don't think he is playing anti-town. Kak needs to change his scum game somehow so I don't give him a pass yet.
Other first impressions after catching up.
I think Brain is likely town, I can follow his thoughts.
I thought you were probably town after your claim right at start but scum have pre-game chat and I felt something weird with you first provoking then agreeing with Brain.
I also have a good feeling about Chaqa, can't explain why.
