chaqa is town and this is very much in line with how he plays and thinks. he takes pride in being able to stake out positions like this as town.

That was my initial reaction, yes. I'm struggling to reconcile it with how ickily and indirectly he's defending bozo now.

I'm trying to decide if Chaqa makes sense as a bozo teammate. My conditional Flum/bozo read was out there already and I'm really struggling to imagine him actually coming to this shitty "give me your reads for each of bozo's alignments" -> "now vote someone on both lists instead of bozo" logic in good faith. Does he do all that heavy bozo defending early D1 if they're teammates, though?

What do you mean

I literally presented the two possibilities for his role and asked who you would suspect in those cases, then asked you to vote for the person you suspected regardless of Bozo's alignment.

To me it's super simple and the fact you're being stubborn about it rather than just being like "yeah I would vote Flum but I'm not right now for xyz reason"

I said I would vote Flum but he's not my top choice. I said that before you pushed on it.

How do you not see how shitty this logic is? You could do the same exercise with any player, and it would always break down when you ask to not vote for the player in question, which means ultimately you're just defending bozo in this weird, backwards way. If you asked me to do the same exercise with Flum, bozo would be on both lists. Does that mean I should vote bozo and not Flum?

I saw it. I'm not sure I buy it. You're basically saying they would have piled onto killing you to save bozo if he were scum, but there were several other wagons to pile onto, they could have been bussing him or aggressively pushing their own wagons, they could have been not around or practicing patience a couple hours before EoD. I don't see how you can reliably conclude bozo is town based on that.

No, the presupposition of my logic game is to find a compromise you find valid in the world where we don't vote Bozo, because I also don't want to vote Bozo, so of course I'm going to try to find you a productive avenue of your own that aligns with that. the thing that is keeping flum from dying is I sympathize with his complaints. I dont have a problem with the phases or keeping up with the game. but I beleive on some small plane of existence maybe he needs alot to be able to actually play and he just isnt getting it
