the difference being that a random number is alot more random than seeing things that happened in the game thread - a person dies - and turns out they fearkilled you - and left a trail of blood behind

I would say that I celebrate good results however they come and commiserate bad results however they come, but I also care a lot about good process because I enjoy seeing people develop and improve their skills and being rewarded for it. I know I wasn’t deeply involved with this community for long stretches of time, but I did start it, I did write the (dated) guide on how to play it. I’m not stealing your collective valor, your accomplishments are yours, but it’s just fact that I contributed in some way to the development of most of the players here. My favorite thing in this game at this point is watching people step up and do well. Go check god chat last game for an example.

So if you straight up asked ChatGPT who the scum is and got it right then I’d laugh my ass off in god chat and would adamantly argue that the process was terrible and we just got lucky (while enjoying the fact that we got it right)

And if you divined from nka that X killed Y for Z reasons then I’d give you props for getting the right answer but would question the replicability of your method until you actually replicated it over several games (at which point I would concede you solved an area of this game that has thwarted me for 15 years)

And if you worked out from game thread logic that ghug couldn’t be mafia because he knew Haze was a PR the day before mafia tracked Haze and that based on other thread info that Jamie and Bunny are the final mafia, I would blow up god chat cheering you on

I will attempt to fathom Brainbomb's reason for suspecting me.

He starts off thinking I am not scum because of the Rdrivera kill:

Jamie is way more rigid with kills and likely wouldnt want a kill on someone who is doing so little for gamestate.

Now this second post is interesting:

didnt understand the flum wagon but said flum was forgettable
then wrote the other wagons are valid but meant pyxxy and eden
understood why ghug and jamie were wagons but didnt agree with them

full candor I haven’t really tracked your various nightkill theories to your votes over several games to have a grounded opinion

I think I didn’t appreciate how important you viewed nka though. I always figured it was discussion fodder rather than the real basis of your hunting

good enough for me. Ive played the game myself for 20 years so my methodology is unconventional but is certainly effortful and I always hope provides “something” whatever that is.

Anytime I ever try to explain my style or thought process theres a pushback about vailidity rather than win rate or if what I do has value or if there is merit to the reactions it garners or how it informs others.

to me it just sounds like youre trashing how I play and saying I just need to learn your way to sterilize the bad stuff

I beleive very strongly that bozo is scum here. willing to stake my reputation on it and tunnel him to the end of the game if necessary. we either kill him and find out if scum was saving him yesterday or someone is going to have to get me out of this tunnel and show me why im wrong. I did not say NK analysis was bullshit. Where did I say that? I did not say it.
