Re: M80 Game Thread
And what do you think I’m doing this game? Has someone made an actual accusation? Or just “bunny busy”?
I’ve been focusing on psyches. I specifically listened day 1.
Days 2-3 are wasted IMHO. I think the PRs did us a disservice shortening the days. Better would have been to hold the intel to get VCA and reads. I understand worcej doing it, but you done goofed.
I have been busy IRL lately. If anything, my scum game has historically been louder and more intentional in how I perform as town than my town game.
So I dunno what you think I’ve done? Or not done? I hunted as best I could day 1, got excited. Outed worcej. Picked up Eden being weird. Actually, I’m doing pretty well finding non-VT psyches, but there was nothing to do D2/3 and I’ve been busy today.

I actually had pegged them as a possible scumpair. But for some reason I decided it wasn't likely.

Bunny is in the POE for sure. I can ##Vote Bunnygo.
However, if you think I am scum why did you stop voting for me?
I'm not a huge fan of people trying to manipulate my vote - even though you're townclear.

This is 100% true and what I expect to hear from same town (and even dane scum) but we seems to in a shortage of such people.ghug wrote: ↑Wed May 24, 2023 5:13 pmThis is a terrible idea. Let's give ghug the benefit of the doubt and him and the 3 townclears vote for a kill target. People must vote for the majority target or be considered scum. In the event of a tie ghug's vote ignored.
If successful repeat tomorrow with survivors of the four.
Following a failure we kill ghug.
@Worcej @ Haze what do you think?
@ghug deal?
Well, the main reason to keep Ghug alive at this point is that him and Worcej are probably the only ones I can understand.

That's a very unfair paraphrase and you know it.brainbomb wrote: ↑Wed May 24, 2023 3:55 pmthe funniest moment of the game so far was when I asked you to produce a few towny quotes by ghug and
im paraphrasing but ghug defended you from having to do so by saying "there arent towny posts of mine in my ISO". which is absolutely bananas hilarious to say. He didnt even want you to have to bother.
Like if ghug is town you are so far up his ass that he will never have a hemmroid again from how sweet and cool his bum bum feels

Ghug is right about this. This plan just creates a situation where everyone other than Worcej, Damo, and Haze doesn't have to be held accountable for their vote.ghug wrote: ↑Wed May 24, 2023 5:13 pmThis is a terrible idea. in a deductive reasoning crime solving game, explain the heuristic of a person who becomes frantic and will not stop harping about their talking points
ChatGPT
In a deductive reasoning crime solving game, the heuristic of a person who becomes frantic and fixates on their talking points can be described as the "Obsessive Bias" heuristic. This heuristic refers to the tendency of individuals to become overly fixated on a specific idea, argument, or piece of evidence, often to the point of disregarding alternative perspectives or evidence that may contradict their position.
The person exhibiting this heuristic might display the following characteristics:
Fixation: They are obsessed with a particular theory, piece of evidence, or argument related to the crime. They might repeat the same points over and over, often without considering alternative explanations or evidence.
Emotional Intensity: They become increasingly agitated or frantic as they continue to focus on their talking points. Their emotional state can impair their ability to consider other possibilities or objectively evaluate information.
Confirmation Bias: They selectively search for or interpret information that supports their preconceived ideas, while disregarding or dismissing contradictory evidence. This bias reinforces their fixation and can hinder their ability to engage in open-minded reasoning.
Tunnel Vision: They develop a narrow perspective, neglecting other relevant information or alternative theories. This tunnel vision limits their ability to explore different lines of inquiry or consider multiple hypotheses.
The presence of the Obsessive Bias heuristic can create challenges in a deductive reasoning crime-solving game. It can obstruct progress by diverting attention from other crucial aspects of the investigation, stifling collaboration, and potentially leading the team astray. Players must recognize this heuristic and find ways to address it, such as encouraging open-mindedness, facilitating balanced discussions, and providing counterarguments or contradictory evidence to challenge the fixated person's viewpoint.

He was not clear and you made an interesting case. He appeared oddly connected with X as you noted.
Did you not think your own case was worthwhile?
