@Haze, @Xcution

Okay, throughout the game you've both said things that seem "off". For X in particular, I've ascribed that as them being Mafia and just pretending to more or less have poor reading comprehension.

But I am asking sincerely, are you both reading all of the content? I don't know if regulars read all of the content, but if they don't they manage to make comments that don't sound like they have no idea what's going on.

If you are struggling to keep up on accusations made against you, consider ctrl-f your name, that will function as an @ that we all wish we had for the forum.

Peterbot helps too, but I think you've both implied you started using it.
im trying to read everything but it hasnt always been happening. ill try to do better.

DAMNIT!

I tried Eden, scum won the chicken game with us this time, but at least I know their strongarm power was used.
Well I don't know why you'd tell them that, but OK.

I have nothing to claim at this time.
have you had things to claim at other times?

also nothing happened to me last night

done with pg 187

I dont really think dousing can be royal with x tbh. I dont think both of them have this continued argument as enemies.

I've heard of rule of 3 but never actually seen it done in theory and actually one time as wolf added a random towny to my "town reads" which were two towns right before I got flipped. And it somehow caused a lot of paranoia. I personally dont believe in it. I thought your orignal argument was that wolfs weren't adding their pals which could be true or not ig depending on how they want to play it
have you ever heard of contraction theory?
no and the look up definition seems too confusing

i don't have enough of a read on his person to know

also it'd be a pretty big thing to forget as either alignment

i think i'm going to not take it into account

he'll reveal himself in other ways
I'm actually viewing it as a probable scumslip. One thing about Mafia is their logic doesn't come from a town place, so Dousing was purposely saying an anti-town thing (if Dousing is found to be Mafia, then sweetandcool will be too), and when I called them out on it making no sense, they tried to justify it by saying that they forgot night talk exists. Which is nonsense.

So the slip isn't that "they forgot", the slip is that they tried to use it to justify something that seems purposefully anti-town.
Sweet I think you're forgetting that I specifically spelt out the Dousing/Sweet scum theory to point out how it does not make sense

I wasn't promoting the idea. On the contrary, I was bashing it
Hmmm, my mistake.

Also I'm not saying you didn't want to pursue this angle previously.

However I do this it's really unlikely that you'll have a wallpost implicating me in a maf line with Fox and Sweet just when I wrote one on you.

Ergo, you had the idea previously and me looking into you has made you go "oh shit I need to go on the offensive" but you're painting it as a coincidence
Okay, I suppose I can see where you are coming from here, but also, wouldn't my response to your case against me be more in line with the example you are trying to make? I mean, I did my Fox iso and came to my conclusions (which you didn't even respond to) and then I made my response to you. Do those to posts I made feel connected or separate? Where do you sense bias during my Fox iso other than me saying your suss? You had a post defending Fox right before he was outed and Fox also took issue with suspicion against you and also tried to start a counter wagon when your name was brought up. Do you deny these things?
I see your point, all I'm saying is that the coincidence is highly unlikely. The post looked like theater which is why I didn't bother replying to it.

I don't recall the post where I defended Fox on.

I think you might be referring to the three bullets question proposed by Kak. Tbh, I didn't think too much on it.

I forgot that Eden wasn't cc'ed
And I admitted that I should've put fox on the list in the next post I sent.

I really don't buy the argument that I was defending Fox here. Also why would Fox stick his neck out for a newbie teammate when he could have benefited much more from bussing me.

If I was in Fox's shoes. I'd see me as a deadweight that'll probably accidentally out their teammates sometime later in the game.

The only reason, therefore, that Fox would have to defend me was if I was actually town. It could be really likely that Fox was secretly hoping I'd flip and (when I show up as town) he can gloat to the people in the anti-dousing wagon and gain a bit more cred.

K (unless smt happens) I'm gonna take a bit of a break since this mafia talk is making my brain melt.
There was a post you made right before Fox got exposed where you were hedging on Fox's slot, you even got called out for it. I would try to go back and look for it but I feel like that's such a difficult task.

I mean, you saying what Fox would do as wolf is completely WIFOM. You can't say 'but Fox wouldn't do that as wolf!' as if you're assumption on what he'd do trumps what everyone else thinks. The fact of the matter is Fox has issues with votes on you, somehow linked it to being Eden related, and then voted for Eden. That feels pretty pingy to me. I don't see how you come to the conclusion at all that Fox must have been defending town. That seems so far-fetched and you trying to say Fox wanted to say 'aha!' of you potentially flipping when he was actively trying to save you is head scratching.

Xcution is taking the place of S&C from last game I just realized.

If X ever flips maf then I there's a good chance Ghug is maf too imo

I tunneled real hard on S&C bc I scanned them as either a PR or mafia last game

I was basically convinced that they were mafia until the very end where I then doubted everything and started thinking they really were the bodyguard.
OK...I get that. Where does ghug come in to this analogy?

I had a similar rough time with rdr my last game: I correctly sussed him, but when I scanned I got town. Little did I know he'd been driven that night. I was worried about it, but wasn't able to doubt it enough.
two thoughts; one post

I realized I could be making the same mistake RE:Xcution that I made w/S&C last game

However, I think Ghug has been vouching for X which makes me think that Ghug has a vested interest in drawing more attention to me and less to X
What do you say about ghug seeing me play, though? I think this is kind of a similar conclusion you are making when you say I was working with Haze. You've taken the two slots in familiar with in this game and somehow turned it into suss towards me and team equity. Realistically those two players are the only ones that know me, and vice versa, and I don't like how you're trying to turn that familiarity into something more.

Two unrelated statements. But Dousing is referring to the extreme tunnel he had on me last game.

Why damo? If you look at their posts on peterbot, they suitably impress me.
