It largely focuses on kak trying to ask Fox about stuff (brain vs. eden and pyxxy).

And two posts that mention Fox, but ask Jamie about pyxxy.


AFTER the reveal is when it picks up. The post on page 157 reads in entirety:

"Call Foxcastle

you're slowly running out of time. I really, really would like to hear more from you."

This is weird.

Then on 160:

"Well Fox, last chance to say your final words if you are town. I promise I will strongly consider them, though I will not blindly follow them.

If you are mafia, I will respectfully ignore them though."

What's weird about it? Other than the fact no CC sprang up, and consequently Fox being Mafia was like 99% certain?

At the very least, it was bait to see what else Fox may tell us before their demise.

Yeah, this reads like townie uncertainty/due diligence to me.

from a playstyle perspective, I think from what ghug said that Haze is probably more akin to rdr/bozo, though clearly a more frequent/higher volume poster

I think damo with less math and more vibes is probably the best comparison.

Does HaZe not enjoy playing wolf? That's my biggest damo tell, is I always feel he only enjoys the game when town.

You want to play WIFOM with Fox? This is something I'd do in worcej's shoes BEFORE revealing my scan. BEFORE Fox knows he's got.

AFTER it just seems like showing up to be seen doing something and building EITHER a WIFOM case or bussing options. Trying to get intel from publicly outed scum is weird.

I find it weird that you fully saw fox as mafia at the time, even with the wiggling, he just could've been frustrated town, I've seen people do that in the past. If you give someone an outlet, a small hope, they could open up. Even cornered mafia, when they see a ray of light, might jump at it and you can get info out of that. Also, even when I think someone is mafia, I try to reach them from a town perspective (like in the game with bozo, where we had that huge disagreement over PR and stuff and there was a hard front of him plus worcej against me and some other, like RD. Funnily enough, mafia damo just jumped around in the grey area to never aggravate any sides of the argument).

It's at least better then just sit back a whole day and night and wait what happens then.

well, I still think it's much more likely that mafia didn't put their buddies into the three slots, maybe one they thought is hopeless to save for some cred, but not someone they think has a good chance to survive

I strongly disagree with this, FWIW, I think the likely scum move is to list exactly one teammate, though crafty folks will potentially take advantage of that and do something else.

would a mafia team that doesn't jail worcej do this though?

Fox is smart. Given that, I think they were either taking a calculated risk or one action got fucked up.

nah, the shameful part is at the end ... because I didn't understand how much I would hurt ghug by not endvoting and making him feel he did the right decision ... it didn't occur to me and I was afraid of blowing my act if I endvoted and also kinda wanted to give Jamie a fair chance if he came back (which he didn't, he really went to sleep early because he needed to be somewhere the next day)

so even unintended, I acted like a complete ass and I'm thankful ghug forgave me. He got consoled by discord chat afterwards so he said he was fine with that, but a part of me still thinks he wants to pay it back to me and I clearly can see it after the reread why that might be

Agreed. I mean, it was kind of "weird" for the reasons BunnyGo has pointed out, but not suspicious "weird". Like, it's not making him look Mafia in any way.

I would argue that me pointing out the theoretical driver possibility (which somehow ballooned into a practical possibility amongst some people) was more suspicious than this.

well, to be fair, he wanted to vote jamie and me out so he wouldn't have to face the final three with us two (since he townread everyone else), but due to me being the deciding vote to get damo we kept voting out bob and ... who was it again, I don't remember, or was it just damo(?), before ... I still know I nk'ed RD first and worcej on the last night, because both townread me and also looked very towny, which left me no choice but keep jamie and ghug around

the comments in the god thread at the time for my choices were ... very interesting and opinionated

You better post your analysis on ghug right before end of night. If you die, I want to know why you suspect ghug, because currently I'm seeing nothing about them that makes me suspicious, and you dieing isn't going to change that if I'm given nothing to work with.

normally, the minute/second before EoD is the time when people post their reads/thoughts/results they had in the night which they don't want to let mafia know AND if they fear they don't survive to the next day. Some mafia fake those posts too and some post even when they don't feel they are in grave danger, but just in case.

I think it did go down in recent games, it was much bigger in earlier games.
