Re: M80 Game Thread
If they didn't intend to kill or jail worcej, then it makes sense to Role Cop them to me. I assume learning specifically what role he is would be helpful.
They could have also Role Copped a random player, but the odds of returning any useful information are low since two PRs were already outed.
Well, at the end of my analysis I threw into question brainbomb as being town. But they did play a critical role in Eden's play, which was pretty towny of them.
I am working on non-mech analysis, so my views on brainbomb will be refined.
But I think the biggest takeaway from my analysis is that brainbomb could be positioning themselves nicely as a deep Mafia.
Re: M80 Game Thread
I worry because rolecopping Worcej is exactly the sort of thing the team that just let him get a scan off would do.sweetandcool wrote: ↑Fri May 19, 2023 7:00 amIf they didn't intend to kill or jail worcej, then it makes sense to Role Cop them to me. Also, I wanted to point out that our two PRs being outed actually might have been even beneficial for town.
Mafia had to worry about a possible commute, jail, doctor, and watch. And those actions were likely to be targeted at the known PRs.
I assume that is why they avoided targeting worcej and President Eden.

Since worcej had a successful scan, and revealed it, we all know their role. So if they did Role Cop him, then it was a waste of time, which is great.

Next thoughts will be on players. I will post a read list. I will examine closer in individual posts players that merit it.

Heh, if I was Mafia I would have strongmanned worcej. Probably. But since worcej was such an obvious target I would have been worried about worcej being watched.ghug wrote: ↑Fri May 19, 2023 7:17 amI mean I worry for your towniness. Hmmmm, maybe the best move would have been to ninja worcej, since I actually think town would have left them unjailed (since I think town wanted them to prove themself with an action).
Oh well, I should focus on my analysis.

Re: M80 Game Thread
Bonatogether: Has not been nearly as active as I would expect them to be. I suspect it has to do with IRL stuff, but they are a little off to me. They did comment on "major" events on D1, but that's it. Their play has been reactive, that is, they haven't really done any analysis, they've just reacted in small ways and haven't taken any initiative.
VERDICT: Slightly Suspicious
Dousing: My impression is that their long absence and the number of posts have prevented them from properly getting in the game. They've just made multiple obvious and terrible mistakes in their attempts at analysis. I'm also disappointed that they haven't remedied that during D2. I'm hoping they are spending the time doing some major reading and catching up.
VERDICT: At best, useless town.
rdr: Null read. Psychologically speaking, look at their N1 posts and they have an angry tone that I don't recall from the previous game. On the other hand, I think their jump on Dousing during D1 was just weird, and it started a wagon that probably shouldn't have formed.
VERDICT: I can't read them, but I actually Town-lean them.
damo: Null read. But it's worth noting a lot of what they have said has ended up being correct or widely believed.
VERDICT: I don't know. Too accurate to be Mafia???
Kak: I feel like read-wise Kak has been a feeling a bit lost this game. Still not only is their vibe town to me, but they have tried to contribute with Mech talk, helping confuse Mafia during night, and they are asking some questions to try to get reads.
VERDICT: Town.

Haze with a Z: Totally forgettable despite actually posting a lot. But if you look at real content, there just isn't any. Haze just seems a little lost, similar to Dousing (but not nearly as bad). Still, I suspect (and hope) that they were holding back D1 to get their bearings. And now that Fox is the clear DK, there isn't much discussion that needs to be had. I really hope they shake off their wallflower status during D3, because they might be a top vote.
VERDICT: Suspiciously devoid of real content. Scumlean. Otherwise, useless town.
BunnyGo: Innocuous comment about about God Thread is either a really clever Mafia touch or just showing town psychology from the get-go. Hurt me with a comment about me not being as self aware as I think (
). Their vibe + their accident with worcej makes me think they are town.

Alright, it's late, and this took way longer than I thought. What I've written so far has been derived from looking through each player's posts thoroughly.
Luckily, I have another day to finish. It will be good to finish because I am saving the more important reads for last, but hopefully some of this is helpful.

I did, jokingly quoting your own words when you made the retraction, and you +1'ed my post at the time. It is at the top of page 127 if you want to check.President Eden wrote: ↑Fri May 19, 2023 2:14 am
I think I remember Jamie acknowledging it, but the bot is giving me BS and not letting me see his posts past about T-5h.

You are disappointed that this happened?sweetandcool wrote: ↑Fri May 19, 2023 2:37 amIt's pretty disappointing that some Mafia member dropped the ball and was afk when they were needed (at least, that's what we are assuming). I feel bad for Fox that they are taking the heat, when it looks like it wasn't their fault.

Again this assumes they even used all four powers.worcej wrote: ↑Fri May 19, 2023 2:41 amI wouldn't assume this.sweetandcool wrote: ↑Fri May 19, 2023 2:37 amIt's pretty disappointing that some Mafia member dropped the ball and was afk when they were needed (at least, that's what we are assuming). Assuming BB's claim is true, we know that the Royalist Propagandist shortened the day. I believe the Royalist Enforcer probably used the ninja power to kill pyxxy. Royalist Spy probably scanned me, leaving the Royalist Agent to be the one that jailed BB.

Well except maybe I was totally wrong about Bozo's theory and maybe actually, now we assume Fox to be scum, Bozo could be right that Kak is his team-mate.
What do you think?
