Dousing is either town who has a high enough opinion of PE that he would prefer to eliminate me over PE D1 despite expressing a negative view of PE's D1, mafia who was trying to justify a vote for T vs. T top wagons, or mafia who was trying to protect a teammate while hedging his position in case PE flips first (I know he was not bussing).

Despite townreading Eden it was this post that made me switch from Bozo to Dousing.

Explaining mainly for pyxxy's benefit.

Unfortunate that you missed EOD and could only post this now after the flip, quoting the flip.

I didn't miss EOD. I came back at T-10 and was trying to catch up the last few pages whilst simultaneously keeping an eye on the votes to ensure no tie. I had no time to respond to you.

I think it was fairly obvious my naked vote was following bozo's post.

The alternative is that Dousing is hiding to avoid attention. Right?

Because the alternative is that he's frozen and crying in scum chat but not a single one of you Dousing voters have argued this point.

I've examined that Dousing must be frozen in scum chat and none of you Dousing voters have responded or posted your thoughts on that theory

Wagons looks like TvTvT to me. Eden (fake?)claim is pretty on brand from what I remember, not really gonna get into that part of things during night. Good news is that scum can't kill him tonight anyway because it'll help us solve D1 too much.

worcej like I said needs to use one of his powers tonight, because that will force him to be self-resolving. if he doesn't self-resolve we'll need to chop him, which would suck if he was just town having a bad Day 1 in the thread

bozo I remembered from wolfing against him in the game which must not be named. I remembered surveys and activity. I think maybe my mistake here was that the thread was so busy D1, I didn't give his posts enough weight, but honestly I'm pretty happy with the chop (#suemeRDR)

I think I was being very hyperactive at EOD and maybe I didn't give enough people time to respond. But they can respond now. Why did you think Dousing was scum, besides sheeping Bozo's read on Dousing?

It just seems odd to me that people (read: damo, worcej, maybe Fox too? ghug is clearly trying now so not smearing his good name) were and are unable to produce a read on Dousing that isn't based primarily on Bozo's opinion.

Like I pointed out, the argument is right here. "Dousing is frozen in scum chat and his teammates are trying to wagon Bozo/Eden to save him." Yet no one else even considers it?

This isn't meant to be mean. I can also make D1 votes that aren't well thought out. But that's why I was trying to engage people by being loud about it in the thread. I know that I can be shook out of a bad vote on D1 by a loud townie helping me think. That was my goal here but people didn't seem to care.

I'm still surprised that you disliked my mech talk. It's NAI for me, I swear. I even do it as a PR. Doesn't mean I might not make a mistake. But I try very hard to only discuss things that are factual and help town win without outing anyone.

it's mostly a joke, but I think it's basically not posting/being active in the thread in order to try and let suspicions blow over or let the heat on yourself die down, because saying anything would just make things worse

I think that scum Dousing probably gives into the temptation to try and self-defend, or teammates ping for him to come back to the thread and at least try to survive.

Dousing's complete absence reads as a town that left the thread when he had 1 vote on him and didn't expect to get wagoned.

That’s what I recall from Sabi’s use of it, and it doesn’t strictly imply an actual belief in a daychat.

Which makes it interesting (well a little bit) that after explaining this and showing that you weren’t strictly speaking claiming there was daychat, you then appeared to suggest you didn’t know there wasn’t a daychat.
