Ahoy mateys! Sorry missing the first part of D1 a thing that might be helpful to know is that I have an abysmally slow reading speed and I decided to read the entire 30+ pages of the forum before posting this.

Also part of being in school to be a future teacher means a whole lot of debt which I’m trying to avoid by working like a dog in the summers so I might not be increasingly active until N1 or D2.


I’ll give you some initial thoughts/feelings about people (in no particular order):

I think most people are correct in saying that Jamie’s frustrations w/ Bona right off the bat is kinda odd but I think it could be likely that he got tunnel vision and just wanted an answer that Bona didn’t want to give.

I do think his vote on Ghug is REALLY weird though and I’m not sure why no one has talked about it much. It’s a very un-Jamie thing to do and it almost appears like a royalist going “oh shoot I’m looking kinda sus focusing on Bona like this I better vote Ghug to make it appear like I’m being more objective than I really am” (idk it’s just a gut reaction but I wanna start a conversation on that).


S&C is fairly consistant from last game it appears (thankfully he’s not pissed at me after I hardcore derailed that game bc I genuinely like them as a person). I have the same problem that S&C has in that I haven’t been on Webdip enough to get a baseline on how everyone acts under normal situations.

That being said I think S&C is just a self-aware poster in general. I can see how that might be suspicious but I think it’s just how he posts and I don’t wanna repeat last game


It’s weird seeing Worcej post since I assumed he was just a permanent GM in my eyes lol. Their spew of catch-up posts seems logical but I don’t put much into that. People can usually dictate the tone of the forum when they make catch up posts since 9/10 posts will come from them; Worcej could’ve wrote anything and it would’ve sounded “logical” through sheer quantity alone.

I'm kind of baffled by the current President Eden vs. Brainbomb fight right now. I know President Eden knows better and can understand other people. And while I don't know Brainbomb, I suspect they also are intelligent.

So why are they spending so much energy on misunderstanding each other? Kind of feels town vs. town, but could also be some advanced Royalist vs. Royalist stuff, especially since neither has sent off an emotional vote for the other.

I could be persuaded to vote one of them, and if we get lucky and catch Mafia, that might tell us the other one is as well.

TLDR: I think both are Town, or less likely but possibly Mafia. I don't think they are different alignments.

brain asked about four specific people who, in my view, are readable by their body of work by d3 or so. I fired off the quick response “you can read them by the fact that they vote scum” to indicate this belief. Additionally, none of these guys had posted enough to develop a solid read on them.

Around the same time, we had a discussion about who we would kill in 3 minutes, and I put forward a target based on behavior I thought was scum indicative.

What am I not making clear about this so that I can try to help bridge any remaining gaps in understanding?
