I know you explained this, but any more thoughts on why you are leaning towards me being a Royalist? I have absorbed a few new abilities, and consequently am a little different this game. That could lead you to conclude that you are seeing Royalist sweetandcool, but my strategy as a Royalist would be to act more or less exactly the same as last game.

Okay, I think you've mentioned this is only your second game, and I know you also said something about being annoyed people keep mentioning your newness, but this post just strikes me as pingy because it feels very self aware. You yourself have mentioned a couple of times something along the lines of being new, or you've learned new things, or you're changing things up, and that doesn't feel super natural to me; I feel that there's something almost nervous about your play.

More alien lines of thinking. I encounter them frequently in this game and just don't understand. I think, however, that you are correct that my play is "nervous". I do not know how to behave D1, as town or as Mafia, and that makes me uncomfortable. You can examine my previous game, M79, with the peterbot and you can see dor yourself any similarities or differences in my play.

Or you can take my word for it that I'm pretty self aware. And President Eden even vouched for that, despite also leaning towards me being Mafia.

I'm guessing that bunny's concluded that the reason he keeps getting D1ed is the specific meta changes he's chosen and not the fact of the meta changes themselves. Though meta changes are now themselves his meta, so maybe this isn't a meta change?

Those towntells arent helpful until post game. we live in a society that needs proof by verification. I cant walk into the bank ask for money and then fail to present any of my account info or ID.

This wasn't true FWIW - there are some decent things to have been gained from those 16 pages.

I'll be interested to hear your thoughts on it, when you are back.

I think Xcution came in strong and is demonstrating town behavior right away. I like the pushing for responses.

Bunnygo's little schtick is interesting to see the people getting annoyed by it so early.

Haze is a null for now, but is active and I feel confident I'll sort them out eventually.

Eden has made weird early posts that I don't like.

Brain has been more towny then I expected.

Jamie is probably town, but less obvious than I'd normally expect.

What has been weird about President Eden? Seem normal enough to me. And why is Jamie probably town? I can't really read them, and in fact last game I just went along with everybody else who was townreading them. Is it because they are obvious when they are Mafia?

For context, s&c has written quite a lot in the main discord about God and other such topics, and I never picked up on any British spellings he used, so it piqued my attention when ghug asked him about using such spellings, and he responded by saying he had picked them up from books when he was younger.

I thought it was interesting because s&c seems like the kind of guy who might get cheeky with the roleplay and use British spellings as a “Royalist.” And additionally I simply never noticed him using them before.

But upon looking at his writing samples, I only see him spelling “favour” that way. I checked “criticise,” “saviour” and some other stuff I don’t remember.

I’m inclined to believe his story

I actually thought, in hindsight, that my background Pirate story seemed to be trying to communicate something. It did not, but I did think it was a potential possibility. Alas, I did not think of doing something like purposefully spelling in a British way, but I do think it's a clever idea.
