I am in a hotel room because I travel for work and just feel obligated to read and post as I see fit. Also, my personal life is a complete shit show and I am playing as an escape from the reality.

TL;DR - My wife cheated on me during the last mafia game (when I was the GM btw, also shout out to Foxcastle and Darg for taking that over btw), decided to divorce me and start a relationship with the guy she cheated on me with, and now am in the process of finalizing a divorce with her and figuring out how to co-parent a 3.5 and 1.5 year old with a fucking narcissist bitch.

I appreciate it, but don't be. I've learned an awful lot about her character and really am glad she's doing the favor of leaving me. My kids will be better off with us being separated.

Like, not to drag this out, but she told me she had been done with our marriage for the past 6 months prior to cheating on me.

Which means, when I asked her if I should change my job to this traveling one back in November 2022 (5 months before the cheating), that she was consciously "faking it" and struggling to stay loyal to me and told me to take the job so that she could spend more time with her "friend", who happened to come over and help her out when I was on the road the first 3 months before they ended up cheating on me.

There's a lot of evil out there in the world boys and girls. This tops the list of shit I've experience in my life.

Honestly, I'm still not sure how D1 works (this is my 2nd game). I will stick with my basic strategy of RNG, and I will try not to get as worked up as I did last game on D1.
