Honestly, I'm still not sure how D1 works (this is my 2nd game). I will stick with my basic strategy of RNG, and I will try not to get as worked up as I did last game on D1.

((I can't tell if this a place where rp/flavor is important or not tbh so I havent written anything fun

Flavor is not important here. We are simple pirates with our tastebuds obliterated from excessive consumption of rum and port.

I think wallposts of flavour are frowned upon. And I think clear communication is important too. But throwing in bits of flavour can be fun. I am currently enjoying kak's roleplay. That may change if they throw more than one wallpost on D2.

I feel I'm close to find a good balance for it, I often overdid it in the past (even when later flavourposts had ingame thoughts and progression in it, but you can't fight over personal taste), so I had some good chances to learn how far I should go until it isn't fun anymore.

But don't worry, it's nearly 2 am here so I shouldn't be too long awake ... shouldn't ...

Hey my roommate's boyfriend said my it was early the other night cause I wasn't asleep yet and I'm usually asleep first. I think I stayed up past 3:30am that night for some reason(not usually though and I had nothing the next day)

Night is the best time for pirating! Sleep is for the weak! Easier to get away with stealing at night. Especially because most normal humans go to bed during this time. Let's collect a large sum tonight!
(in all honesty though you should sleep at some point and have a great night when you do)

I am fairly new to pirating, having only heard stories of pirates being told in the village until recently. They came by at one point and I stowed away on their ship. I was chased off but was able to take some things from that ship to convince another ship to let me on as a pirate. And stuff happened and I ended up here.

((also the save draft keeps looking like a submit button and I keep accidentally clicking it D:

yeah, you need to getting used to it until it feels good. Pro-tip: if you send a PM, check in your outbox if it has been send, because it happened to me in another game that my message wasn't sent and nearly missed the deadline for submitting it (or if you are in contact over discord with the GM, use that, that should work much more smoothly)

Well in the sense that I am scum to many villagers out there, I am scum. So are all of the pirates on this ship. Although I am a true pirate and not a traitor to this ship. So in that sense, I am not scum.
