Re: Twenty Questions - Game 109
He'd have likely made the top 20. I did enjoy Neverwhere, and Good Omens is a favourite (although it's hard to say how much of it was him). He'd be in good company, with Peake, Mantel, Dahl, Herbert et al. But not quite top 10

Is it the world's worst author, Jerome David Salinger?

Re: Twenty Questions - Game 109
2 questions left. I think narrowing down birth/death would be helpful. What do people think are good guesses for that?

Other things we have not established, but may wish to consider:
- Ethnicity / race (we may assume it's a white guy, but not necessarily).
- Were they famous for one great novel, or something else.
- Were they even a writer of fiction.
(I am NOT asking any of these questions at this stage, QM)

Re: Twenty Questions - Game 109
My mind, perhaps expecting odd things from sweetandcool... keeps pushing down unusual 'writers.' I think, question wise, that Jamie and fox have suggested some good guidelines... but we only have two questions.
Should we use up some of those free guesses before we narrow?
