It further occurs to me that I have no particular reason to town read bozo, except my personal bias

I think my positive feelings towards bozo stem from the fact that while they don't post often, I tend to find their posts leaning towards insightful. And they don't seem to be sucking up to me.

Certainly not enough to town read them, but enough reason for me to not be focused on them.

Since I'm not familiar with y'all, it's hard for me to be able to find much reason to believe or disbelieve the possibility of a particular team combo.

I also don't recall any of you bussing each other much. And honestly, even then it doesn't mean much. Dousing and I could be mafia and committed to hard bussing each other

But honestly, I'm most confident about Chaqa. Their voting pattern has been extremely suspicious.

Sure, you wouldn't know anything about our tendencies as players or as potential teammates. But based on what you've put together about the incentives mafia might have to do certain things - whatever you may have put together so far - does the behavior of snowy, Chaqa, and me toward each other reflect the possibility of us being teammates?

Regarding the underlined - I would say I've pushed Chaqa reasonably strongly, Chaqa has pushed back (though I think less strongly), and snowy has at least tried to keep me as a potential daykill. Do you agree with that assessment, and why or why not?

I'm annoyed at the homework, so I'll confess I didn't do the most thorough job.

I agree that you've pushed Chaqa reasonably and Chaqa has kind of pushed back. Snowy might be keeping you as a potential daykill, but honestly I get the impression that their votes for you have been more of a matter of seeing what happens rather than being all that serious.

I also don't find this a convincing reason to say you all can't be teammates (although I really think 2 out of the 3 of you is the reasonable possibility). None of you have really ever been in danger, and I think that's thanks to the obvious focus on Fox and Koala in day 1 and 2.

I think (and could be wrong), that good mafia play is to act 'normal' and attempt to try to make sure that town is divided or at least fighting each other. If Mafia busses Mafia that just adds to the chaos, and isn't that dangerous when it's taking a sideline to a Town v Town fight (Fox/sweetandcool , Koala/sweetandcool, etc.).

s&c why have you considered good mafia play if you're town? this is a complex theory

You've made similar promises before but you have never followed through before. Failure to follow through will absolutely lock you as Mafia.

I'll also note that throughout the game your votes and accusations have been all over the place (except against Eden), so you haven't been a very helpful townie.

I feel pretty strongly that Damo is town.

I had some more concrete thoughts on why with regard to Day 1, but mostly I feel like Day 1 didn't feel like mafia cared much to move their votes around since everyone was town.

I know you feel strongly about it, but if you have time I encourage you to look at Damo's posts again. If they are not vanilla cop, I am legitimately confused by their play.

Lastly, what power(s) do you think Mafia would take? If Eden or Bona are actually powered instead of Mafia, then that would mean Mafia took a power.

I am absolutely pissed because I thought after chaqa/dousing claim, there was going to be no way any wagon other than chaqa and dousing would form.

Consequently, I felt safe to behave in any way I wanted. I wanted to confuse Mafia, especially since Dousing had just outed me. We are in big trouble because Mafia certainly took an extra power, and it looks like they took more than just one.

I would say ya'll are insane for considering anyone but chaqa/dousing, but now chaqa's new claim seems genuine, but it's really annoying that it has put me in the crosshairs.

I think it makes sense to mass claim at some point today, but I think sweetandcool should claim first.

Fine. It's unfortunate that I am the bodyguard. Since I have no special info.

My narrative is that I screwed up and forgot to guard N1 (I wouldn't have thought to guard ghug, so oh well). Then since Dousing was so against me, and I was becoming a controversial figure, I thought Mafia might kill someone in an attempt to cast more suspicion on me. So I started to be extra insulting towards Dousing (pretty easy when they still haven't even considered for a moment I could be town) while drumming up the probability of them being town.

I wanted Mafia to kill Dousing, so that I could successfully guard and at least vouch Dousing as town. Then during N2 Bona mentions newbs don't get NK, so I realize my plan is unlikely to succeed.

That's when I realized damo is acting like Vanilla Cop, and that they had scanned me. I figured I would do my best to tout Damo as town and also imply that they were Vanilla Cop. Then I could get my self killed by guarding them. But Mafia surprised me by hitting snowy instead.

Then today we have all of this role claiming. As I just said, I thought no matter how much I was suspected, it would absolutely have to come down to Chaqa vs Dousing. Consequently, I wanted to confuse Mafia and I wanted to see if any of them were foolish enough to hop on a Dousing wagon. Plus, a small part of me was entertaining the idea that more than one of the role claimers were lying.

I would have thought about my play against Dousing a bit more, but I wanted my reaction to look really emotional and convincing. Again, not too hard since I am extremely annoyed that Dousing has wasted the whole game not even considering I could actually have a power, and I'm extremely annoyed I've been outed.

My understanding is that this would be unwise. It might be a play in the late game but not now. Regardless, I could simply lie. And unfortunately I already thought of the best possible lie for Mafia/Town is to claim Vanilla Town.

If you are Mafia flipping you as Mafia will be very helpful. Try another argument.

Explain how. Flipping me Mafia would be helpful for you to figure out who the other Mafia is. So under the assumption that I flip Mafia, who would that lead you to believe is Mafia? And if the answer is that you can't think of anybody, then there is no point to flipping me, regardless if I am Mafia.
