So much info.
I was struck by an inconsistency in Chaqa's claim. He says he thinks scum took no powers but his results make that impossible. This indicates he didn't think it through and Dousing is much more believable.
However, I find it intriguing that sweet is voting Dousing but hasn't actually confirmed or denied Dousing's scan claim that sweet is non vanilla.
If Eden is to be believed the scum team appears to be Chaqa Bona sweet.
If Eden is lying then it is Eden Dousing and one of {Jamie, bozo, rdr}.
Id like to hear from sweet wet vanilla status and ofc we need to hear from Bona re RB.
I guess today has to be Chaqa v Dousing (surely one is lying scum).
I was townreading both but Dousing's claim seems more believable.

i have 14 characters in my name
also, how do we know you chose this rationale randomly
Of course, I could create any random reason to vote a certain way, but there is no way to verify my true rationale. I just mentioned that method because I had randomly decided on it and was excited that I would be voting for the poster, you. But then I realized that I neglected to count the space in your name, resulting in 14 character![]()

it occurs to me that someone (eden?) might shriek that this is just the frankenposting but in a different form
i feel like this is different because this time i'm reading a lot of people and explaining how my views are changing as they go along and it's not a dedicated hit piece to start

what is bga and how do they playsweetandcool wrote: ↑Tue Apr 04, 2023 7:51 amI've played a tiny bit on BGA, but their slang is wildly different from everything I am seeing here.
I assume all of the experienced players like taking a shot in the dark in the first round, which isn't unreasonable.

Board game arena. The game is Werewolves. I swear they were about half an hour games, but idk could be longer. It was realtime and I played on a laggy phone. The only slang they used that I've also seen here is "sus".Bonatogether wrote: ↑Wed Apr 12, 2023 12:08 amwhat is bga and how do they playsweetandcool wrote: ↑Tue Apr 04, 2023 7:51 amI've played a tiny bit on BGA, but their slang is wildly different from everything I am seeing here.

As for the koala situation:
Case 1: not mafia: then mafia hopes we pile up and vote koala. Bad mafia eagerly votes koala, good mafia takes a cautious approach and tries to be less enthusiastic without changing the result away from koala.
Case 2: mafia: koala hopes to survive the first vote, and hopes suspicion is drawn away from them, since case 1 seems more likely.
Conclusion: pay close attention to previous discussion related to koala, maybe there are clues.

@s&c why did you put in this effort d1 when you had previously regarded it as a crapshoot (basically, summarizing, whatever you want to call it), and why did you not repeat it?sweetandcool wrote: ↑Tue Apr 04, 2023 10:48 pmSlogging through all posts related to koala, I observe the following:President Eden wrote: ↑Tue Apr 04, 2023 9:37 pmfinally, somebody with sense around heresweetandcool wrote: ↑Tue Apr 04, 2023 8:28 pmI guess my previous vote didn't count due to syntax error. ##VOTE Bonatogether
evaluate Foxcastle’s reaction under this lens, please
Post #52: Jamiet immediately jumped on voting Koala.
Post #58: Fox shares a story about how in the past they would punish the behavour that Koala is demonstrating. The moral of the story planted the idea of voting Koala.
Post #59: Jamiet points out that Fox's logic doesn't make sense.
Post #81: Fox says it was a story they found interesting and relevant, that's why they mentioned it. Proceeds to question Jamiet's Post #52. Also points out how the play demonstrated in their story and Koala's current play have significant downsides.
Post #121: Dousing votes Koala to save their own skin.
Post #210: ghug chimes in with a vote for Koala, quoting Post #121.
Post #243: Jamiet doubles down on their Koala vote, referencing Koala's repeated self-vote declarations.
Post #245: damo asks Koala to stop this nonsense.
Post #247: Bozo is saying something about the Fox/Jamiet posts, idk what.
Post #etc: I don't think they are any more relevant posts and have stopped analyzing.
Conclusions:
I do not know the normal Jamiet/Koala dynamic, please evaluate whether Post #52 and #243 are suspicious. My gut says no, but I feel like a townie should immediately know that voting Koala D1 is a poor play (save it for D2, please (:)
Fox could have been telling an innocent story. Or we could be dealing with a clever Fox who wants to plant the seed of the idea to pile on Koala. A great play for the Mafia Traitor, since Mafia Goons should pick up on the communication. And after communication (Post #58), Fox can walk back and start playing devils advocate (Post #81), the role Jamiet immediately took in Post #59.
Take the following with a huge grain of salt:
I only referenced one damo post, but several of their posts make them seem super trustworthy. Which is actually a bit suspicious. It's probably nothing, but something to keep in mind. Also, ghug's Post #210 is bizarre and actually reads good mafia play. Wait quite a while and see that public opinion is tipping a bit in Koala direction, only then chime in to help seal the deal.
Lastly, wouldn't it be funny if Chaqa was the Mafia Traitor, and using the posts they didn't like as a form of communication? I only had that thought near the end, but it could be quite clever. Other's can provide analysis of their +1s if they feel like it.

Honestly I'm not sure how to answer this and got to go right now.Bonatogether wrote: ↑Wed Apr 12, 2023 12:10 amhow was playstyle like?sweetandcool wrote: ↑Wed Apr 12, 2023 12:10 amBoard game arena. Mainly they liked voting newbs out D1 and they loved role claiming. I quickly deduced that roleclaiming is a bad idea.
