Three town PRs would mean mafia took two upgrades. I think that is *possible* but not likely.

I think them taking three upgrades is super improbable, so if ANYONE ELSE is a PR now is probably the time to think about claiming because then we know one of these is a fake.

Is this a VT claim? You said you were not the cop, but I don't think you said you were a VT.

Of our 4 remaining town PR claimants, I think 2 are likely mafia.

PE/Bonatogether is one possibility, with or without Chaqa.

PE/sweetandcool or Bonatogether/sweetandcool are also both possibilities.

There are scenarios where Dousing is mafia, but those are remote.

Only PE, only Bonatogether, or PE/Bonatogether/sweetandcool are also possible, but less likely in my opinion.

My guess is PE and Bonatogether are both mafia, so I prefer DKing one of them today and give sweetandcool a chance to protect Dousing.

Day 1 VCA

If there was any 'saving' it was of Koala or Bona (or both).

Observations on each player's votes:

Bona - poss bus of Koala but no sign of panic when K went to 3 votes 2 minutes out.

Bozo: very late switch to from Bona to Fox probably tie avoidance (there being the possibility of a switch from Fox to me).

Chaqa - slight possibilty of short bus on K but that seems a little pointless. Late switch almost certainly tie avoidance.

Dousing - voted K throughout.

ghug - nothing much, the late move from me to Chaqa probably a combo of tie avoidance and not wanting to vote Fox

Jamie - I think he simply townread Fox and incorrectly scumread me

Koala - bizarrely kept on sweet which was going nowhere. Smacks of not wanting to be on the TvT top wagons. Highly suspicious imo.

Eden - seems fixated on me. Could easily be scum driving a mk. Could he be that misguided as town?

rdr - consistently on Fox.

snowy - slight possibilty of bussing Bona and getting cold feet although I doubt it.

sweet - On Fox from hours out.

Conclusions: Koala is the most suspicious but anybody could be scum.

I think we should kill either Bona or Koala tomorrow unless the NK sheds light.

Given the NK and the game progression, have you formed any further conclusions on that matter as the major counterwagon?

Not really. The NK was hardly a surprise and doesn't tell us much. I still maintain Koala looks the most dodgy.

Given it was TvT I suspect the mafia vote was split over 3 wagons. If there was scum on me I think Eden much more likely than Jamie who I townread (I normally get him right). So something like sweet Eden Koala fits the bill.

FWIW I townread Jamie, Dousing* and Chaqa. I'd be surprised if there's not at least 1 scum in {Koala, sweet, Bona}. You, bozo and rdr are in the middle.

Speaking of time, I'm streaming a goofy challenge run of Back 4 Blood starting at 11am my time (EOD minus 5h). Unless we call the session early or absolutely steamroll it, I'll probably be busy through EOD. I'll be keeping up on my phone if nothing else.

Aside from the obvious fact that I know 1/3 of it is wrong, Chaqa's called shot of me/rdr/snowy doesn't make sense to me because snowy is the only one who's even seriously talked about rdr being scum. Most of us have rdr in the unresolved pile (to which he customarily belongs lol). Under the circumstances there's no reason why mafia snowy would even talk about rdr. It's also not for nothing that the called shot consists of two people agreeing with the case on him (me and rdr). I can forgive him for being less than fully invested - not like I can cast stones from this glass house - but when he's here his posting is reactive, and his progression on the game opaque.

My TRs on the newbies and Bona remain. Jamie probably town - I know he said he's an active player regardless, but I really don't remember him leading post counts like this. He's usually in the mix of higher posters sure, but d1 really stands out to me still. And the fact that he's disclaiming it as a reason to TR him is pretty townie of him because I'm very sure if he were scum he would just go along with it. He's wrong on me, but I'm aware I haven't been as inspired (or inspiring ) as usual. bozo is probably also town if Chaqa is scum, and maybe just regardless.

I would kill Koala to save myself, but Koala still feels like a crapshoot vote to me, and I much rather Chaqa.

Four people moved to Koala after Eden went 5-3 up, namely snowy Dousing bozo and rdr. If Eden was being saved there is almost certainly at least 1 scum in that 4. Snowy and Dousing were on Eden so maybe slightly less likely than the other pair.

Revised thoughts

If Eden is scum then the other pair is one of {sweet, Bona} plus one from {snowy, Dousing, bozo, rdr} or both from latter group.

If Eden is not scum then one or two of {sweet, Bona} plus one or two from {Jamie, Chaqa} plus none or 1 from {bozo, Dousing, rdr, snowy}
