The ONLY reason currently to kill someone other than Bona or Eden is if one chooses to believe that Bona is covering for me. Seriously, if they are Mafia they could have easily just verified Edens claim.

Bona had no reason to stick their neck out, unless they were covering for me, fellow Mafia. Even then, that seems like an idiotic play.

there is no reason not to kill the 99.99% scum between us, sure. that's not in dispute.

what IS in dispute, for the rest of the town, is who it is. I have provided a test that will show who it is beyond a shadow of a doubt, which AFAIK cannot be disrupted without the mafia paying a serious price by allowing Dousing to get another scan.

you keep copping out that you "don't have mech brains" but it's not a complicated situation. I know you're at least capable of logicking through it even if you don't often find yourself spending a lot of time on mechs. I've also presented it very simply and objectively. And I understand you don't trust me, but you should be able to engage with what I'm saying and explain why it won't work, or explain why it shouldn't be done even if it will work.

you won't do this, because you know you need to miskill me today for your team to have a chance to win. there is literally no other answer, because there is no reason this MUST be decided today, from town POV, when there is a foolproof way to figure out the truth and resolve it tomorrow.

in the hypothetical world where you're tracker and I'm scum you should have NO PROBLEM with this arrangement

also, rdr's objections were:

- no clear. which is true. (Dousing is pretty close, but I'm not roleblocking him.) but surely you all can decide who the most trustworthy player is? you're not about to engage in tactical denial of the reality that we have to trust SOMEONE not to be scum even if not confirmed. so sure, guessing wrong and picking a mafia target is a risk, but that's not really any different from what we'll have to do this game anyway.

compare the reward of Dousing maybe getting another scan because mafia goes full caveman, and the possibility of us killing a different mafia today and being in fantastic shape, and at least to me it seems incredibly obvious that this plan is great.

but if you force me to kill you today instead then there's not much I can do.
