Night 1 I scanned Bona. He came back not vanilla, hence the first post on Day 2. I've been thinking about this a lot and I firmly believed he was another PR until the math doesn't seem to make sense.

Night 2 I scanned Eden. He also came back not vanilla. I figured at this point it was worth just claiming.

So, if one of them is a PR, that would be ideal, but if not I think maybe I've got two. I'm just unsure about Bona though so I don't have him locked in as scum.

Well that thing is Chaqa, I think you have this wrong because I *checks PM's* am actually Vanilla cop and YOU are a lair with pants (presumably) on fire.

To be honest, I was CERTAIN I had outed myself as the vanilla cop because of my complete 180 on my position on S&C. The reason why I've tunneled on S&C so hard thus far is because I scanned them N1 and found that they were not vanilla.

For reference: on D1 I was saying things like this:

[Obviously, this is more comradery/solidarity but its simply just the most proof of my trust and respect of who I considered to be a townie. I think in other posts you don't see me shading S&C at all and I'll say that I personally was reading them as a townie even if I didn't say it out loud.]


Compare this to my interactions with S&C post-N1. I mean for starters, you'd probably be better off calling them "accusations" as opposed to "interactions". It clearly starts off with me putting S&C at the bottom third on one of my lists (viewtopic.php?p=337123#p337123) and them gradually shifting farther and farther down as my suspicions of them raise.

Honestly, I don't think I even need to show proof of how hard I pushed the anti-S&C wagon. I'm certain S&C is sick of it (the mafia lover themself )


The *REAL* smoking gun that I think proves my role is me saying this:

S&C, this might be bad play, but if you got lucky and landed a special town role tell me because I really want to help you clear your name

Personally, the arguments that S&C made while I was accusing them--although not *perfect*--raised the possibility that S&C could be the second town role. In addition, my arguments against S&C were a little flimsy. This is because I didn't really *care* about the argument itself, I wanted to just use it to convince everyone else to vote S&C because the REAL evidence was in the scan I did the night before (but I couldn't just tell everyone that obviously)

Regardless, as time wore on, the doubt in my mind boiled over and I made the terrible decision to ask S&C if they had a role. I genuinely liked (and still like) S&C's post and would have been really bummed if I inadvertently killed off a townie especially since their play so far had been really strong.

So if S&C claimed a role then my "not vanilla" scan would've been accounted for, but obviously that didn't end up happening since S&C is part of the mafia and Chaqa just false claimed

It's odd that Chaqa said he was catching up but then basically vanished without addressing the Counter Claim.

That kinda implies caught-mafia imo.

I mean I totally get Chaqa being busy and not wanting this forum to monopolize their free time but I still think a true town PR would be picking up a more fight or be able to pull out more proof that their thinking has been changed because they are the vanilla cop.

So far this is literally the ONLY evidence Chaqa has to prove they are the vanilla cop:

[Provided, Chaqa gives more *information* about a Eden and a N2 scan, but there’s no evidence of their behavior actually changing in the light of new evidence.]

Keep in mind the four non-vanilla roles Chaqa’s scan could identified are these :

Mafia goon
Mafia goon
Mafia traitor
Town PR

Chaqa tells us they “firmly believed” that Bona was town on D2 and therefore is more willing to accept the 1/4 chance that they are the town PR (keep in mind a second PR wasn’t even guaranteed at that point; Chaqa is working with information that should’ve be available to them at this point) than a 3/4 chance they are part of the mafia.

I think this is unlikely and I also believe that if Chaqa was truly a vanilla cop they would have attempted a far more through analysis/questioning of Bona rather than assume they are simply a town PR (something which Chaqa has yet to justify btw).

It’s far more likely that Chaqa decided to simply claim vanilla cop and retrofit their previous posts to align with their new identity



This in mind, we know Chaqa has knowledge of two things:
- how many abilites the mafia took (and more importantly how many town PR’s there are)
- who the other members of the mafia are

Thus, there are two ways to interpret Chaqa’s scans as cop: 1. they “scanned” a townie and a mafia or 2. they “scanned” two townies.

Neither of these gambles involve Chaqa making a “lucky guess” or taking a gamble

Scenario 1. Chaqa’s false mafia partner can simply false claim as well (no luck involved)

Scenario 2. Assuming that there are two town PR’s, 2/6 of all townies have a special role. Chaqa has a fairly high chance of randomly stumbling across a townies with a role after picking two townies to “scan”. if they don’t Chaqa can just argue that they found two members of the mafia. (No luck involved)

This is unexpected. So Chaqa fake claimed cop, but with 2 correct scans, as PE and Bonatogether are either mafia or PRs.

I think Chaqa, PE, and Bonatogether all being mafia is a real possibility. They would have had to recruit to coordinate this, so it would make sense for sweetandcool to be a real PR in addition to Dousing.
