Night 2 Flavor:
I'd write one, but it might be "too much GM" - I kid, but it's my last too much joke due to our soon to be departed...
Snowy801 has died! He was a Vanilla Town!
Day 3 has begun. You may now post.

K glad I didn't die. I mean 1. for obv reasons but 2. because I wanted to shove out a big block of text right before EoN
Like I said earlier, I'm back. Well I'm on my phone and I (initially) just wanted to lurk for a bit and keep tabs on the posts so I don't have 10+ pages to look forward to when I actually sat down to participate but then this post caught my eye.
To be honest, that's actually really good criticism and I kinda overlooked that part. and I wanna acknowledge the post, add on a few things to defend myself, and show y'all how D2 ended from my POV.
First off Voting for Snowy "twice" is a bit of a stretch. Yes I *technically* did, but that was because I accidentally messed up a quote and put in a vote for Eden by mistake as a result.
I won't be flippant though, I get Jamie's point. I was on an anti-Snowy wagon and that was because Snowy didn't explain why they suspected KoalaAttack. That is a perfectly acceptable justification to vote someone (especially if you still have eight hours left until EoD).
(Like I said) in hindsight, I should've stuck with my guns. I, however, will still stand by my opinion that Snowy's counterargument to Koala is well done and that argument put a serious wrinkle in my prior distrust of Snowy.
Truth be told, it was a combination of
1. Seeing a high level of commitment/a strong counter argument from Snowy
2. The knowledge that Koala was ALWAYS gonna be a wagon and the desire to end the debate once and for all and
3. The time pressure
Which eventually convinced me to vote Koala in the end
I don't consider what I did to be anything resembling blind faith to Snowy. Although, I liked what they had to say. I maintained my reservations about Snowy's counterargument almost immediately after they posted it (http://mafia.peterlund.se/e/web/msgs?g= ... d=w:337559).
But Snowy's explanation that it isn't Koala having suspicions of Snowy that makes them shady, but rather their overreactions to said suspicions that characterizes their scumminess is what made me seriously consider trusting Snowy. In hidsight (and I'll explain below) I think there were a few red flags RE: Snowy that I simply miss due to time pressure. However, as you debate how I voted in D2 consider that the argument made by Snowy is genuinely well done and hits on (what many people have already said) Koala's big weakness this game.
Regardless, voting didn't go great and if I were gonna apportion blame I'd say it's 100% the fault of Snowy and 0% the fault of me (I think that fair :D)
In all seriousness, I think there was a few red flags from Snowy that I simply didn't catch due to the time pressure
- I think they made an effort to make the vote to either Koala or Eden when Chaqa was still a viable candidate and
- I'm still unsure why they decided to switch votes to Koala. I assume that it was just a meme to scare the tits out of me but it could've genuinely been a way to force a vote on Koala
Okay I wanna say more but I've written for too long and my thumbs hurt

Snowy, who you voted for twice during D2, but who you do not appear to scumread.
Hmmm.

And I guess it was kinda useless because Snowy turned out to be town :/

Welp, I'll still post it because there's nothing I like more than forcing the rest of the board to have to read through a massive wall of barely proofread rambling or else risk being yelled at by everyone else for not participating properly

I'm surprised snowy was vanilla. I thought for sure if they were not Mafia then they would at least have a power.
I'll give it more thought later, but my instinct says ##VOTE Chaqa
Kind of annoyed my other prime suspect is leading the wagon.
