I guess this means you do not think KoalaAttack and Bonatogether are bussing each other, so I must be missing something from the post you have cited.

Re: MAFIA 79: The Price is Right! [GAME THREAD]
I'm sorry to say that it's too much work to tell you specific people. It's just that several people moved off of the Koala train EoD1, and I just generally recall at least 2-3 different people saying things along the lines of Koala being firm Town.snowy801 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 08, 2023 6:42 amWho did you perceive as having put down Koala as firm town based on early d1 antics?sweetandcool wrote: ↑Thu Apr 06, 2023 10:46 pmI am mainly disturbed that the stunt they pulled in the beginning has caused at least a few people to think they are firmly town. I think their stunt proves nothing.

Pretty weird flav.
Also RIP.
I was not roleblocked.
On webDip, if there is a role blocker, the roleblokced player is told they were roleblocked, *even if they had no action to block*.
I know this is non-standard for other Mafia sites so your question was totally reasonable.

What are the main differences? (Apart from Bona / Eden's weird dynamic, and my raw sexual energy, of course).
It's not like warewolf because y'all actually know how to player the damn game.
Also opening my mouth is terrifying on this board unlike the other two
You are doing fine so far.

@Koala:
This will be the last time I substantially respond to you. I just don't have the time/energy anymore, and if you are mafia as I suspect, then it's a nearly pointless exercise anyways.
The most useful way to explain why I feel you are Mafia is to go through my progression of thoughts about you:
1. Initially annoyed at your self voting.
2. Made a little conspiracy theory about you and damo. Mainly motivated by the fact that some people were actually counting your stunt as credit towards you being a townie. Plus, not an implausible theory.
3. Appreciated that your stunt at least was generating some actionable content.
EoD1
1. Nothing new about Koala.
EoN1
1. I weigh in on the Koala vs. Bona spat. I think I overstated my suspicion of Koala at the time, but mainly I was bothered by the fact that they didn't actually (in my opinion) help Fox, the fact that it kind of read like you were looking for a wagon to join and found me to be the convenient target, and I had the impression that nobody was suspecting Koala when I felt they had acted at least a little suspicious. In hindsight, this may have all been just poor (in my opinion) town play.
2. Suspicion spiked heavily when during your spat with Bona you dismissed out of hand their argument. Not a good look when it starts seeming like you're trying to turn opinion against your accuser. Maybe I'm biased, but when someone puts a ton of effort into a post only for it to be (at least seemingly) dismissed, I just see Mafia.
3. I voted for Koala. Pretty much because of all the previous problems I had with them and the fact that they were self-voting again (even if it was a joke).
4. Since then, you've mainly behaved in the same way towards Bona and Snow, in that you seem to grossly misunderstand them, and then make strange conclusions based on these misunderstandings. You also act very dramatically and seem to be doing your best to appeal to emotions.
That is, you keep making it seem like you being voted for will be such a sorrowful thing because you will be revealed to be townie. It definitely makes pulling the trigger a bit harder, but honestly at this point I don't think I will ever be at ease until I know the truth definitively. If you flip townie, I will truly be baffled by your behaviour.

koala's last game (as town)
compare
I took two things away from it, nonetheless:
1. Koala likes self-voting (I kind of had that impression anyways).
2. Koala town loves to goof off a ton.
Conclusion: Koala hasn't been goofing off much this game. So that's already a striking difference between previous game's town Koala and this game's (Mafia) Koala.

I just got lots of work sprung on me so I'll try to at least be available if I need to change vote or something. Otherwise, I will be spending the day visiting with my brother-in-law, making peanut butter chocolate balls, and making delicious berry-filled cake for Easter.

This is why President Eden is actually tied with Koala as my number one suspect. When I was suspecting Fox, they swooped in and encouraged that. Then, somewhere along the line, I swear they did the same thing with damo, but I can't find it. And now they are supporting a push for Chaqa.
Kind of seems like they are happily encouraging momentum against different people without actually providing much original thought. Nobody suspects them because people feel happy to be validated by them.
##VOTE President Eden
1. Foxcastle kept pressuring you and
2. The rest of the board jumped on the Foxcastle bandwagon on your behalf
If you were genuine in your analysis's I think you would be more developing evidence/a line of questioning more organically because currently you seem to be going:
Step one - find accusation/conspiracy
Step two - check to see if a townie is biting (if yes use townie as backup and go to step three if not go to step one)
Step three - sit back and watch as townies MK
I'm basing this on the fact that I haven't seen you actually evolve your theories organically and your really hesitant to actually put your name on the line when putting them forward.
Tbh, I suspect that--had I ignored your remark about Eden--you would just found some new theory to push in the hopes that a townie would eventually back you up.
I'm surprised nobody has pointed out the following, because it's something I have been feeling self-conscious about and I think you are referencing, but my main suspects have also been the two who have attacked me; Fox and Koala (I attacked Fox first, yes).
My fuel against Fox was that they didn't seem to address my concern but rather tried to discredit me, something Mafia would do (turn accusations against the accuser).
My fuel against Koala is that they seem to be doing exactly that against Bonatogether (in addition to other Koala behaviours). Bonatogether made a well thought out post and Koala just hand waved it away. They have not substantially made any argument as to why they are not Mafia. The fact that they pushed against me is irrelevant, especially since I have agreed with the base of their argument that newness should not be a shield against suspicion.
I think it's unfair to say I've been pushing for a damo and/or President Eden misskill. Yes, I made a mention about damo but acknowledged it as a conspiracy theory and haven't really mentioned it since. I think it's good to at least point suspicious things out, as long as I acknowledge that it's a bit of a reach.
Same with President Eden. Yes, I'm currently voting for them. But again, I've mentioned something that seems out of place, but have acknowledged that it's not super substantial. I would like discussion on it, and then if the discussion is satisfactory I will probably change my vote.

Ok I was wrong.KoalaAttack wrote: ↑Sat Apr 08, 2023 2:12 amLadies & Gentlemen, I present to you – The Case of Bona
For context, we are talking about this post of mine:
Which Snowy used as reason to hardlock me as Mafia.snowy801 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 07, 2023 3:30 pmSpeaking of reasons why I actually believe something, I direct people to review this commentKoalaAttack wrote: ↑Fri Apr 07, 2023 4:54 am

And what is Bona's ultimate response to this entire discussion?

In other words, Bona is basically saying I am full of shit and Snowy is right.
OK... coolio... So, I'm full of shit and Snowy is right.
That means that my original post was indeed a Mafia claim, riiight?
Because I can only know that Bona is Mafia for sure if I'm Mafia myself, riiiight?
Yet it's the same Bona who is taking Snowy's side?
I am pretty sure there it at least one mafia caught here – and it ain't me.
Any of you logical types, please double-check my thinking above. Am I crazy?
It was not interesting.
Bona was commenting about a different post. Whether his comment was correct or not, it related to the one where Snowy called him a "mafia player" (i.e. someone who is playing the game of mafia, not someone who is of mafia alignment).
Now, I don't agree with Bona's take on that. I think Snowy was implying Bona to be scum. But this is irrelevant to the mistaken "logic" presented by Koala above.

Yes that is the post you were referring to, I agree.Bonatogether wrote: ↑Sat Apr 08, 2023 3:26 amif you had any critical thinking skills it'd be clearly evident this is the part i was referring toKoalaAttack wrote: ↑Fri Apr 07, 2023 11:34 pmOK my case on Snowy is growing as Snowy is posting but ignoring my repeating questioning...
Because as far as I can tell they have no actual rationale for their hardlock of me as Mafia to share...
The best part is – the last one is by Snowy themselves!
So Snowy – you are a Mafia hardlock because you didn't say "if" when you said Bona is the earliest setup reading mafia player – riiiiight? You just stated it as a fact. Clearly, you can only know this from Mafia chat.
Like, people say different versions of essentially "you are Mafia" or "when you flip Mafia I'll be vindicated" all the time. Including Snowy themselves!
However, it's pretty obvious Snowy wasn't suggesting you were the earliest player in the game to have read the setup. It was blatantly obvious some people had read the setup from the outset. To me, he appeared to be implying, I assume as a joke, that you were the first person on the Mafia team to properly read the setup. So your reaction to Snowy's post is kinda weird, Bona. (Although it absolutely does not support Koala's logic either).
