no, i looked at the eod time and saw there were roughly equal wagons and that was itFluminator wrote: ↑Fri Mar 17, 2023 2:55 pmThis feels like obfuscating confusion when you recently checked the bot to know eod was soon.
I buy you not tracking who's on what wagon, but you definitely knew what the wagons were right?

Idk, after reading this performance everything seems very disingenuine from bona at eod.
ratio
if i was scum - why would i phonepost, from a car, and pretend to not know what was happening?

thanks for that bandwagon scumread on me, really appreciate itHamilton Brian wrote: ↑Fri Mar 17, 2023 3:07 pmGoing back to bozo's questions to rivera, I think it's unlikely that Kak bussed Koala.
I'd say there's a good chance that there's at least one mafia between worcej and Bona.

you've never played with me as townKoalaAttack wrote: ↑Fri Mar 17, 2023 7:14 pmI'd like to also ask Bona to answer Fluminator's original question about me. This should be great data:Hamilton Brian wrote: ↑Thu Mar 16, 2023 9:16 pmDid you get the ghug-koala interaction reread that quickly or is that just you following ghug's dying words?Fluminator wrote: ↑Thu Mar 16, 2023 9:13 pmBona, what's your take on koala right now. You were scum with him. Do you have the same take as ghug?
1) I spent the longest with Bona in Mafia Chat last game, so will be useful for me to see how accurate and sincere their representation of that time will be as a reflection on Bona's alignment
2) We can all see what is Fluminator's take one they get the answer to their question
3) We can then all see what is Hamilton Brian's reaction to Fluminator's take will be given the follow-up question
3-for-1 form my perspective!
i play differently because i think differently
curious

but it's not effectiveKoalaAttack wrote: ↑Fri Mar 17, 2023 8:00 pmIt was not intended to. My whole argument with ghug was about defending my approach to playing the game as legitimate and IMHO effective, not promoting my Towniness (which is true but unprovable to you).Bonatogether wrote: ↑Fri Mar 17, 2023 7:51 pmbut nowhere does this make you even a shade townierKoalaAttack wrote: ↑Thu Mar 16, 2023 12:15 am
I respectfully disagree. I am a Data Scientist – data does not lie.
My play has caused Kak to engage – did it not?
Kak posted a bunch of stuff on it – did they not?
Whoever shot Kak presumably did it based on things Kak said – can we assume this?
So, by my logic, my play has at least partially contributed to outing The Evil Kak.
We can agree to disagree though?
man i know the experience of being newer and getting an idea and being told its shit but being convinced, and the answer is my idea sucked, and so does yours

every post of mine expresses a coherent thought, and some are even worthwhileKoalaAttack wrote: ↑Fri Mar 17, 2023 8:02 pmComing from you, is this like when Mafia lfischl the King of Lurkers called out other people for lurking? Interesting and slightly suspicious, given this is how we caught Mafia lfischl for calling out others on their very thing.
this comparison doesn't make sense

Re: M1024: Panhandlin' [GAME THREAD]
Fair enough. And if that's the case, and I figure out this was the case I will adjust my approach – after this game when the alignment of all the folks giving me advice has been revealed.Bonatogether wrote: ↑Fri Mar 17, 2023 8:51 pmbut it's not effectiveKoalaAttack wrote: ↑Fri Mar 17, 2023 8:00 pmIt was not intended to. This is why I already promised the ghost of ghug to give ghug the option to play the next way "the ghug way" if we lose.
But I'm not particularly receptive to folks of unknown-alignment telling me how to play mid-game. You all have seen my post in the Sign Up thread. Could have told me it was a terrible idea back then... but did anyone tell me that back then? Nope. So now you get the KirbyKoala for this game, and I'll re-evaluate after the game ends.

I do certainly agree that some are worthwhile though :)

How is the second part not joking around useless noise against your own advice? And how is your joking around noise better than my impersonation silly-ness?

Re: M1024: Panhandlin' [GAME THREAD]
i read every post, including my own, as i scroll past.KoalaAttack wrote: ↑Fri Mar 17, 2023 8:22 pmIf you actually read my discussion with ghug you would see I specifically said the only person who can claim credit is whoever the mystery AwesomeNinja is who shot Kak.
I am simply claiming that my Impersonation roleplay drew out reactions from people. And I assume the mystery AwesomeNinja who shot Kak did this based on Kak's posts or reactions. Maybe the ones to me, maybe some others – we'll never know until all is revealed when the game ends.
I do claim credit for drawing out reactions from people, which can be used as "food for thought" by others to analyze. But also, if you are going to replace ghug to continue this argument, I don't really care enough on my end...
I give up trying to convince folks on this – but I will say that I play this game for fun and I'll play it however I feel like playing it, damn it. Or stop playing if there is only one accepted way to play that's not as fun for me. I submitted some Player Submitted Thoughts along the lines of "I'm allergic to people telling me how to play a silly forum game I play for fun" earlier.
it did draw reactions - not really helpful or alignment-related ones, because your thing isn't alignment related (you announced it pre-game). making assumptions about the vig is inherently unproveable and not really helpful
drawing out reactions is meh. solve, dammit
everyone plays how they want but ultimately something needs to get out of it
