Re: M1024: Panhandlin' [GAME THREAD]
One thing I like to do as any alignment is to seek a clear narrative.
I am quite consistent in that regard. That is what I am doing here with Bozo.

@HB - Not going to try to quote back due to it breaking.
I continue to see town!Jamie even to this point. He is confrontational and pushing his case like he normally does as town. When Jamie is nice and being more subdued - that’s when he is scum.
I don’t think rdr has done anything of merit to warrant my opinion changing, but I am trying hard to not just tunnel this early in the phase.

I started townreading you over it. I liked damo's response to it too.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Fri Mar 17, 2023 4:09 pmDo you have any further analysis on people's reactions to your fakery?TheFluminator wrote: ↑Fri Mar 17, 2023 7:02 amI don't have secret info, I just wanted to take advantage of the closed setup by fake claiming something mysterious and I was curious too see how people would react. The day was going so slowly and something had too happen.
I am curious if the global townread on me was in part because Mafia didn't want to risk calling my bluff. (While I'd expect town too not be worried about pushing me when I was clear I had no PR powers) But with the Kak flip that's a much stronger thing too base things off instead of my reaction test so I'm not reading to much into it anymore.
I thought HB and Rdr were a little weird, but I'm now townreading HB, and I currently suspect bona a lot more than Rdr right now.

Do you have any conclusion regarding that ^^^^^? Did you think it odd from jamie or typical NAI jamie?Hamilton Brian wrote: ↑Fri Mar 17, 2023 5:47 pmI mean, we just had a game with a lot of scum theater so I don’t think it’s wrong to suspect it’s existence.
I honestly thought Jamie was overreacting to your numbering and wanted to call attention to that.
Given the time in between your last post on D1 (your rivera vote post if you don't recall) and now, has your opinion changed? Why would you still vote them on D2? Why would you not?

Why are people struggling with quotes so much this game.

Bona's going to suffer the fate of the lurker. Don't make it a foregone conclusion though.
Re: M1024: Panhandlin' [GAME THREAD]
I hinted at this already, but I think there is a jailor in play honestly.Hamilton Brian wrote: ↑Fri Mar 17, 2023 6:48 pmBona's going to suffer the fate of the lurker. Don't make it a foregone conclusion though.

I'd like to also ask Bona to answer Fluminator's original question about me. This should be great data:Hamilton Brian wrote: ↑Thu Mar 16, 2023 9:16 pmDid you get the ghug-koala interaction reread that quickly or is that just you following ghug's dying words?Fluminator wrote: ↑Thu Mar 16, 2023 9:13 pmBona, what's your take on koala right now. You were scum with him. Do you have the same take as ghug?
1) I spent the longest with Bona in Mafia Chat last game, so will be useful for me to see how accurate and sincere their representation of that time will be as a reflection on Bona's alignment
2) We can all see what is Fluminator's take one they get the answer to their question
3) We can then all see what is Hamilton Brian's reaction to Fluminator's take will be given the follow-up question
3-for-1 form my perspective!

Re: M1024: Panhandlin' [GAME THREAD]
From my limited data-set point of view, Evil Koala Killer Bozo did not attempt to joke as much as the Mafia Academy Quoting Townie Bozo did.bozotheclown wrote: ↑Fri Mar 17, 2023 12:48 pmThese generalizations are interesting, but I question whether Bonatogether and Jamiet have a reason to believe they are accurate. If so, I would like them to cite specific examples.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Fri Mar 17, 2023 8:54 am##VOTE BOZO
He briefly turns up, shades me, doesn't address anything I said overnight, and leaves.
Lazy Bozo is Scum Bozo.
For everyone else, I would like your opinion on the accuracy of these statements, or add you own "_______ bozo is scum bozo".
But there was a lot of commentary in the Mafia Chat last game about how Bozo is a computer who is super logic focused and any attempts at humor are usually a Mafia-tell – which, given those were 3 veteran players in there with me (Bona, ghug, PresidentEden) makes me believe the accepted wisdom on Bozo-behaviors within this community is the opposite of what I have experienced in the last 2 games.
So, shrug, not sure what to make of this contradiction. Would be interested to hear other non-Bozo opinions on Bozo's humor or a lack of thereof.

Re: M1024: Panhandlin' [GAME THREAD]
So he's automatically going to die from the 10 post rule then? That would technically make the game bastard if there's an exception to what the GM told us at the startworcej wrote: ↑Fri Mar 17, 2023 7:01 pmI hinted at this already, but I think there is a jailor in play honestly.Hamilton Brian wrote: ↑Fri Mar 17, 2023 6:48 pmBona's going to suffer the fate of the lurker. You think he's absent because he's actually prevented from posting?worcej wrote: ↑Fri Mar 17, 2023 7:01 pmI hinted at this already, but I think there is a jailor in play honestly.Hamilton Brian wrote: ↑Fri Mar 17, 2023 6:48 pmBona's going to suffer the fate of the lurker. His eod did not seem sincere or genuine at all. I could be convinced if he responds to my question.

But then again, there have been zero Mafia Academy quotes this game?

Re: M1024: Panhandlin' [GAME THREAD]
FWIW, not only was Bona the highest poster last game, there were times where Bona was certainly around the Mafia Chat and choosing not to post. I do remember a conversation where I said I find it hand not to get sucked back into this thread (coding, tend to glance at it while the server restarts) and Bona said non-posting comes easy for them.Hamilton Brian wrote: ↑Fri Mar 17, 2023 2:56 pmThere is this perception that absence = mafianess. Sometimes it's borne out to be true.
The most memorable thing I have about Bona thus far is them posting to produce a reaction, whereupon jamie asked if something Bona had posted had been a "dumbslip."
Doesn't mean much by itself, but a relevant data-point I guess.

That joke will never ever get old to me though
That said, I'm quite surprised how hardcore this wagon has taken off.
My main issue with him is I'm so used to him spilling out reads like sprinkles on his ice cream day 1, with no concern. He finally gave a sheeping read this game, but he's given basically no thoughts all day.
(I could predict it's because he's embarassed from last game maybe townreading the entire scum team, but I feel like he'd reference that pregame or somehow in this game)
