I just ignored that post but re-reading I see Flum reason to believe on this, but I am not sure it was a vig-claim.

You are claiming that the GM sent you a Vanilla Town PM that was different from, or contained additional information to, the Vanilla Town PM posted on Page 1.Fluminator wrote: ↑Tue Mar 14, 2023 5:10 pm? What are you talking about regarding the GM?Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Tue Mar 14, 2023 4:58 pmSo clearly Flum is lying about something and/or trying to drag the GM into the game in a manner that's against the spirit of the game.
Super.
I'm content with you just thinking the first part and we move on though.
This is at odds with the information provided by the GM.
That is what I was talking about.

Ok, Councillor Ghug - noted.ghug wrote: ↑Tue Mar 14, 2023 5:16 pmI think there's a little more leeway to bullshit about GM communications in a closed setup as long as you're not quoting them directly or asking them to confirm.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Tue Mar 14, 2023 4:58 pmSo clearly Flum is lying about something and/or trying to drag the GM into the game in a manner that's against the spirit of the game.

Are you confusing Kak and Koala?
You previously said you thought Koala had a gun.

Thing is, how many players start the game with a "I didn't read the setup?"
GMs have certainly created the conditions to help/enable players.

Brian, what do you mean GMs have created conditions to help enable players?
Worcej, why didn't you think I read the setup?

Re: M1024: Panhandlin' [GAME THREAD]
Quick driveby post in between errands.
Seems like we, collectively, no absolutely nothing about the setup. Treat this like a very plain game with an assumption of 9 town and 3 mafia?
Day 1 votes are a mad scramble with no evidence to go on. A townsperson is usually killed. I suppose we reconcile ourselves to that.
I know I go after some (ghug immediately comes to mind) for stating something without some compelling reasons behind the statement. That drives me crazy. However, today, maybe that's the best. Assume we are all in the dark, but the less said about who to vote, the better.
Two to probably not vote out are Koala and Flum. Koala because they're probably town, given the current act. Flum because they might have something to share and I think we'd want that information but when it's given under duress or threat of execution, I think it's less valuable or reliable?
There's already a current of sowing distrust about certain players. There's already some interactions that raise an eyebrow. I don't think we should even throw about vibes lists. Don't say who is so hardtown-read. Keep mafia guessing when it comes time to make their kill. Let's not make their work easier.
That's my mental state around the game right now. I am sure my downtown walk will give me another piece of enlightenment. I'll take questions upon my return.
Play nice with one another.

Re: M1024: Panhandlin' [GAME THREAD]
They created a game without a visible setup, so no one has needed to worry about reading it. That's all.Fluminator wrote: ↑Tue Mar 14, 2023 6:19 pmI don't get either of these posts.worcej wrote: ↑Tue Mar 14, 2023 12:44 amProbably just Flum lolHamilton Brian wrote: ↑Tue Mar 14, 2023 12:04 amKak really did a deep dive into the whole Home on the Range thing.

What are you confused about?
Is this the first time you have played in a closed setup?

Re: M1024: Panhandlin' [GAME THREAD]
The setup. I think that's all that needs to be said right now since I don't want mafia potentially figuring anything more out just in case they're as clueless as town. The only reason I was cavalier with info up to this point was I assumed every player was given some sort of special information lol.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Tue Mar 14, 2023 6:50 pmWhat are you confused about?

No, I've played many closed setups before.

Well if only you had paid attention to this one.
Oh well.
Let's move on to a different question I asked you.
Can you explain whether you were confusing Kak and Koala, or did you think they both had guns?

How much I want to reveal on that depends on if Koala actually has one now lol.

We don't have much content right now, so I'd appreciate if your thoughts on that are a bit extended. Also if you have some questions, don't hesitate shoot.
