Bona, who else do you think is mafia? I’m aware that you’re zeroed in on me (because you’re a zero), but if this isn’t just some ultra high effort scum tunnel then you should have some other understanding of the game state to share with us

Looking around the room, there seems to be near consensus on BK and lfischl being in the POE pool, but we’re all voting for our best guess at the final teammate.

I don’t know what this means really, I just find it interesting and probably meaningful.

They both have behaved toward me in ways that you could view as opportunistic if you wanted. lfischl dropped a totally unexplained vote on me at the best time for me to become a counterwagon to ghug, BK has made sure to keep me in his suspects pool based on “vibes” without citing evidence. Neither of these things have to come from mafia, but they certainly fit the bill.

I'd really like to understand how your brain works. Talk to me about how your view of the game has evolved. In particular...

- You voted pretty aggressively EOD1 to protect Bona rather than to get a suspect. Is Bona still town? Do you have any thoughts about him, new or old?

- You voted me at a pretty pivotal moment, when I was a counterwagon to damo and mafia ghug. You don't mention me before or after this. What led you to suspect me and what led you to drop it?

- You seemingly were willing to vote with damo to save him D2, yet you voted him out D3 apparently just by following the crowd. What was your view on damo and what led to this change?

- You have been pretty consistent on Chaqa since D1, but I am curious - why are you also seemingly prioritizing TFB over other non-Chaqa votes?

I'm jumping around a bit looking at EOD2, trying to put together what kind of game dynamic had to be in play for the mafia for D2 to end in us killing ghug. Really feels like ghug was either flat out abandoned with 2-3 afk/lurking teammates or that 1-2 of his teammates were afk and 1-2 were committed to a not-damo vote (especially a ghug bus). Maybe at most TFB is mafia and was voting to save ghug.

AFKs/lurkers EOD2:
Bonatogether (last posted at T-7:10, first post of N2 at T+4:29 - true AFK)
KoalaAttack (last posted at T-1:17, first post of N2 at T+2:15 - also true AFK)
lfischl (last posted at T-3:53, doesn't post at all N2 - ultimate giga AFK)
Chaqa (last posted at T-7:30, first post of N2 at T+0:25 - maybe AFK, maybe lurking; I can confirm D&D absence claims are legitimate but that doesn't mean he can't have been paying attention to the game while at D&D)
BK3K (last posted at T-0:51, first post of N2 at T+0:07 - maybe AFK, more likely lurking)

Committed EOD2:
rdrivera2005 (firmly anti-ghug all day, no firm read on damo most of the day, could not have reasonably justified a pivot IMO)

I know I'm not it, but now knowing that damo was town, objectively it would be reasonable to put me in the committed pile.

So from my POV, it's TFB/afk-lurker, rdrivera/afk-lurker, afk-lurker.

Notably, bozo seemed to stay uncommitted enough to vote ghug or damo D2, and was presented a pretty clear window to vote damo D2 and save ghug, and didn't, so I'm pretty sure bozo is just town.

Of the EOD2 afk-lurkers, Bona seems most likely town for reasons previously discussed. I feel a bit better about Koala than the others because of the D3 voting; Koala was at least looking for alternatives to damo, when I think scum, particularly newer scum, would have been content to take the virtually free miskill and just park on damo all day. I don't know if that's enough, and I definitely had my suspicions raised a bit with the exchange that he had with Bona last night, but it's probably gonna have to be good enough when we only get one miss.

This leaves me with a pool, in no particular order, of TheFlyingBoat, rdrivera2005, BK3K, lfischl, and Chaqa. Intellectual honesty requires me to point out that I should be in the town's overall pool as well. I'll see if I can figure out how to show you that with the time remaining.

1. I do think bona is still town, at least in my mind he hasn't done anything to change that.

2. I was not able to get on after I voted, after reading through that thread I would've definitely changed it had I been able to get on.

3. At the point I voted damo on D3, I didn't think people were willing to change their thoughts on damo, so I didn't see much point in trying to campaign super hard on trying to get chaqa or TFB.

4. currently, TFB is my #2 scumread behind chaqa, and at least in my mind, there is almost guaranteed to be a scum between the 2 of them, and damo flipping town like I thought he would also influenced that

If this happened like 30 mins to EoD I'd be more inclined to call it towny

Suspicious – not the typo and the correction, that's fine. The fact that President Eden seems to say "intellectual honesty would require me to include how I'm innocent" here.

I thought that usually "intellectual honesty" is when you say things that might be bad for your own case – not when you use it as an excuse to say more things that are good for your own case, no?
