1) changing your primary scumread every phase is scummy, especially when you make big pushes at night that you switch up during the day, oftentimes without a lot of in-thread explanation.

I don't believe that actually happened. I was really dead set on damo and ghug being mafia since somewhere in D2 and had cased both N1. I preferred damo (incorrectly, noted) but my hope was that we would vote out either ghug then damo or damo then ghug and catch 2 scum.
The annoying part about this is that I'm 100% sure that had I stayed absolutely on rails and insisted on voting damo first always and somehow mind controlled all my teammates to do my bidding so we voted out damo first, remaining "consistent" as you seem to think townies "should" be, you would be here, making the same push on me, arguing instead that I preferred the townie over the mafia. There's no actual way to win in your presentation of things, which is why I'm not overly interested in reading your massive tome.

3) there were times that you swung around, and with things like your bozo case, you just don't mention it again, but you make a new chaqa case after leaving your old one. also, this in in my post that you didn't read, but how did i go from 'near locktown' to 'null' in the space of about 24 hours? now you're shading me? what's the deal with that?

I ctrl-f'd bozo in your post and if that's what you call a case, I can see why you think I've been casing people a bunch.
I don't even know if I care to address it now since the entire premise was that damo was scum and not killing scum there is terrible. bozo just comes off looking awesome for his skepticism about the wagon which, aside from what I posted about his interactions with ghug N1 and him voting ghug D2, makes him very townie.
you'd have known if it were an actual case because I'd have pushed it. I'm now being accused of not pushing cases I never wrote lol.

4) for starters, i'm the same person with the same role. the times i've been inactive were because i was with visiting family (which i stated in the thread) or because i was in school. i focused on your read on me because it's the topic i'm most qualified to speak about, as i know my own role, but i'm sure that the pattern holds for other people as well.

Why would the pattern hold for other people when you are the only you in here? Why would I treat you identically to others when you behave in your own way lol. No one has dipped from the thread for 18 hours except Koala which was its own episode. And evaluating whether coasting for a lot of the time is townie or scummy or null depends on the individual player's preferences, as is evaluating whether their massive terrible wallbombs are townie or scummy or null. In Case of Dying Declaration Suspects List update


Koala's Suspects List 4.0:

(1) Chaqa – having been reading Damo-related things in ISO, I just don't see anything to redeem my Suspicions on Chaqa. Claims Mafia, repeatedly. Makes random statements re lfischl alignment with shaky hindsight justification at best, repeatedly. Jumped on the Cussing Out incident in a bad way. Posts Suspect Lists including zero justifications. Did say Damo was a good info flip late in the day, but Damo being Town kind of negates that.

(2) President Eden – See my first-ever-VCA. Jumped on the Cussing Out incident in a bad way. If there is a Helpful Friendly Neighborhood Mafia type on the evil mastermind team, President Eden fits the bill. It was close between Chaqa and PE, but I'm a tad hesitant because my Suspicion of President Eden is similar to that of Balki last game, which was incorrect.

(3) lfischl – given lfischl's and Princess Noah's posts the past day, including a potential slip from lfischl and the Princess Noah's Doctor claim, lfischl has now moved firmly in the lead for my Lurker Mafia suspects. Literally indistinguishable from last game won as Lurker Mafia. Plus I suspect a strong pairing with Chaqa who remains my Suspect #1.

(4) Bona – so I was going to upgrade Bona to NAI where they were trending, but I've learned my lesson doing the opposite for Damo. Also the FrankenPost is utterly terrifying, almost like something one posts hoping no-one actually reads it. So I'm going to keep Bona in this slot for the time being.


Koala's NAI List:

(5) TFB – 90% of my ranking of TFB goes back to my very strong Unpairing between TFB and Damo. Of course, Unpairing only implies clearance if Damo was Mafia, and in case of Damo being Town the signal is much weaker, but it's a signal non-the-least.

(6) BK3K – is actually trending town-wards for me lately by reading in ISO, and also their reaction to the Damo witch hunt. But I am Suspicious of "all vibes" claim – not because I'm all-logic, but because it would be an awfully convenient excuse to do literally whatever they feel like as Mafia.

(7) rdrivera2005 – Literally indistinguishable from the last game which they won as the Deep Wolf if I understand brainbomb's terminology correctly. That's essentially the entirety of my sorta-not-really-case, but "fool me once"...


Koala's [Temporarily] Cleared List:

(8) Bozo – Remains very hard to read, but I actually developed a bit of a sense of different patterns from last game where they were Mafia to this one. Is a bit more engaged. Developed a sense of humor. Posted a well-thought-out Suspect list with better justifications. I understood the proposal to defer Damo kill, though I didn't agree with it.

(9) brainbomb – 100% Clear Townie

I thought I was pretty fair in my treatment of Cussapalooza and I’m sorry if you feel otherwise. It’s hard when someone I don’t know takes sharp exception to something I wouldn’t, in a social deduction setting like this. I really didn’t mean to slight you or anything, I just had you as a null and I didn’t vibe with the reason you took exception. I’ve come around to the fact that you were sincere in that moment and also that you’re probably just town in general.

I actually love your point about Bona not writing to be read. He’s known for large cases like these, but:

• he never just drops walls of quotes with one-liner responses when he cases. The quotes are always the key points and there’s more exposition to why he thinks they’re important.
• he writes more coherently than he has here. Part of the expounding upon the quotes is that he will take the time to paint the bigger picture for you so that you don’t get lost in the sauce. That’s not what happened here

I may go back and pull some cases I’ve seen of his in the last year which I think are more iconic Bona walls. Thing is, I doubt anybody will read them……

spitballing some more thoughts that I'm too tired to investigate.

- do we have any reason to think scum would not simply park on damo the entire day? 7 people (myself, BK, Bona, Chaqa, lfischl, rdr, Boat) did exactly that. brain, bozo, and Koala shopped around for other options, Neon locked in on Chaqa. even if all mafia just locked in damo, a majority of the people who did it are town, which made it the perfect hiding spot.

- was ghug trying to protect Bona EOD1 with his chaotic vote shenanigans? ghug doesn't have much respect for Bona's ability to fight out of a miskill, so he might go out of his way to protect Bona by stirring up enough other wagons to cause a cascade on some random townie. not well hashed out but just a thought that occurs to me on review of EOD1 votes

- I realize none of y'all can say this with any confidence, but I know both counterwagons to ghug were town, and I also independently feel pretty good about bozo and rdr, so I'm strongly inclined to believe there were no mafia busing ghug. I'll have to dig deeper into this, but I think "what were the mafia doing EOD2?" is a crucial question that I can help answer when I'm not running out of steam lol. i'll try to revisit this tomorrow with more conclusive work. but my hipfire guess is 1 scum between Bona/TFB and 3 scum among TFB/Bona/BK/lfischl/Chaqa
