What would be the motivation for town brain to reveal? He makes himself clear for today but sure fire NK tonight. So presumably he is not doc who self saved.

Problem is voting for brain would be a doc reveal so he's gonna get away with it.

If he is not NK tonight he should be dk 2m.

However if brain is town scum could nk someone else to engineer a mk 2m.

This is why if brain is town it as probably the worst play in history.

And it also seems like a lot of folks have Damo as essentially the cornerstone of their Suspect Theory. So, flipping Damo would either validate or challenge a lot of folks thinking, directionally. Which means flipping Damo is indeed a very high-info flip.

I don't think it's a bad one. We know a confirmed town for a day, and then he gets to be night killed and quit this forum lol. Had he not revealed, some one is still getting nk'd but we have a higher chance of mk. So yes, I'd reveal in the same position i think.

Great question. Well – if – you flip town:

-1- I'd be taking a very long & hard look at everyone who has made a strong anti-Damo case in ISO. I would also be looking extremely carefully at their reactions to the flip and at how they adjust their own Suspect Lists accordingly based on that.

-2- brainbomb is one exception, since they are a mechanically Confirmed Town as I understood it so far. But what brainbomb just said about Damo not even naming any Mafia is simply untrue, so if brainbomb wasn't a Confirmed Town I would be screaming Suspicious right now. I do not feel like I can made the call on the mechanical Clear vs the points you just made against it Damo – so I would likely defer to the other veteran and mechanics-aware folks on the Townie end of my Suspect List (Bozo, Rdr) to tell me if I should reconsider brainbomb's Confirmed Town status and whether Damo's case for scenario (b) holds any water. Even though I'd be running risk being influenced by a "deep wolf" as brainbomb called it... but it's the best of bad options, I have to trust someone who is more experienced of what's typical in these games.

-3- the good news for my Suspects List is that my top 2 Suspect Cases – Chaqa & Princess Neon – have basically nothing to do with Damo. They also both voted for the hammer at first. And if you read them in ISO today, how many posts of actual substance / new reasoning do you count for either? Especially for Princess who several folks, myself included, blatantly tried pressuring into posting more getting "Saved by the Hammer Bell". Bottom line is, my Suspicion of this pair would probably only grow.

-4- I would also know that all Damo's theories were indeed authentic, especially anything Damo said today due to the "dying declaration" effect. So I'd go re-read them and see if I should reconsider anyone in a new light based on them.

I'm saying if you think brain's reveal is not a good idea (by your own admission the only benefit would be to prevent a brain mk today but that wasn't very likely was it?) and conclude he is scum then how likely would it be for me to also be scum spouting all this?
