I think it is possible TFB, damo, and ghug are all mafia and there was a fair amount of bussing going on D1. It would explain some of the unusual D1 voting. Also, TFB's strong push on damo D1 seems like a good bus candidate to me.
Not you too!

I despair.

Here is a question for everyone (not a survey). Which is the most likely scenario:

1. Bonatogether and damo are mafia bussing each other.

2. PE and ghug are mafia leading mis-kills of Bonatogether and damo.

3. The mafia are watching town vote for each other and consist primarily of BK3K, lfischl, rdrivera, and swordsman.

4. none of the above
1) not likely imo, I think Bona is town and damo is scum

2) PE I think is town, ghug might be mafia, but I have some reasons i doubt that which I'll get into in a moment. As for Bona/Damo see 1).

3) I think it is plausible there are 1-3 scum in 3) coupled with Damo.

Unfortunately I've been roped into something that's likely to take up a big part of the remaining day. I think I'll be able to keep an eye on things and I think I'll be around for EOD, but not sure yet.

I don't think much of anything has changed about the game state. I won't vote rdr, bozo, brain, Bona and probably won't vote BK. damo is my top preference, then ghug, then after that it's a bit hazy. Based on how today has gone I'm pretty confident damo and ghug are mafia, and the mafia has struggled to figure out how to attack a day where the wagons have been locked on to multiple scum all day long. My initial case on damo remains undisputed, and he's now just flailing around right now trying to find anything that will work to get him and ghug out of today - which is why he landed on lfischl (who is basically just a lurker rand vote - and note how ghug picked lfischl too!) but immediately and shamelessly followed lfischl's hint that he might vote me.
Like this post and makes me more confident you're town, but why wouldn't ghug call a hard bus right now instead of equivocating and being wishy-washy? I feel like scum ghug would try stop the bleeding and cut damo loose here. The only explanation I can think of that explains why ghug is waiting and trying to see if there is a way to save damo is if the other two scum buddies are mega inactive lurkers and/or people ghug doesn't trust to lead the game to a successful end after he racks up a couple miskills for scum before getting caught.

I did a search on TFB and found this:

Lesson Plan: How to Criticize Counter Wagons as a Mafia Player in Mafia Game

Objective: By the end of this lesson, the student will be able to effectively criticize counter wagons in the game of Mafia to gain town credit while maintaining their cover as a mafia player.

Materials:

1. A deck of cards or slips of paper to determine roles (1 mafia, 1 doctor, 1 detective, and the rest town members)
2. A moderator to lead the game and provide feedback during the lesson.

Introduction (10 minutes):

1. The moderator will explain the game of Mafia, its objective, and the different roles involved.
2. The moderator will explain the concept of counter wagons in the game and how they can be used to identify mafia members.
3. The moderator will assign the student the role of a mafia player for the game.

Body (30 minutes):

1. The student will play as a mafia member in a game of Mafia, and the moderator will provide feedback on how they can improve their criticism of counter wagons.
2. The student will be encouraged to pay attention to the discussion and observe how other players respond to accusations and counter-accusations.
3. The moderator will give the student tips on how to criticize counter wagons without drawing too much attention to themselves as a mafia player.
4. The student will be encouraged to ask questions, listen to responses, and use the information gathered to defend their position while criticizing counter wagons.
5. The student will be encouraged to use their knowledge of the game and the roles of other players to their advantage, making accusations and criticism based on logical deductions.

Conclusion (10 minutes):

1. The moderator will summarize the lesson, highlighting the importance of effective criticism of counter wagons in the game of Mafia.
2. The student will have the opportunity to ask any remaining questions or raise any concerns.
3. The student will be encouraged to practice their skills in future games and seek feedback from other players to further improve their abilities.

Assessment:

The student's ability to effectively criticize counter wagons in the game of Mafia will be assessed by the moderator during the game. The moderator will provide feedback and suggestions for improvement as the game progresses, and the student will be encouraged to reflect on their performance and take note of any areas for improvement.

Why do you think it is a good bus candidate instead of just good scum hunting? I don't think I've ever been taken to KILO except in my galaxy brain play where I tried to throw the game as a VT to force a town win. People will ask questions about why I am still alive at the end of the game if I were to make it there after successfully "bussing" damo if we were both scum, so I don't think in a world in which I am scum I'll have accomplished anything that increases my win equity by doing so.

Shit, I thought my lesson plans were all stored safely in my google drive! How did you get access to it? Did you get access to the grades I hand out to my students as well?

You were the top wagon when you started pushing damo, so it would have given you someone to vote for without risking a return vote, and potentially make damo look better of you were the D1 DK. However, it is the strong push you made for a damo DK on what I consider not much justification that I find questionable.

Original vote anti BonaSpam and riding the B train

Voted you based on admittedly flimsy case. A post of yours soon after made me rethink so decided to move vote. My priority was to avoid a Chaqa kill (I'm convinced he's town) and he seemed in grave danger. Chose Bunny to maintain the B theme (and he had gone quiet). Bit later decided to switch to fish to put pressure on and he's always a good vote.

Voted Bona to save Chaqa.

Switched back to Bunny as I thought him a better flip than Bona.

There's was no point voting TFB as he was voting me and could switch to Bona/Bunny to self save.

As for your last para I keep referring back to the obvious that it was day 1. The only good thing was the bad thing! That is Flum killing Jamie and the reaction to it gave us some meat.
Why did you choose Bonatogether over TFB at the time you voted for Bonatogether?
My principle objective was to save Chaqa who imv would have been a mk. Bona was already voting TFB but TFB was voting me and could switch to Bona making Bona the better bet from a Chaqa save pov. Also ofc Bona begins with B.
You had the opportunity to make TFB the lead wagon instead of Bonatogether at a time when Chaqa was no longer at significant risk. Why did you stay on Bonatogether?

That’s definitely a viable team, but I’d be shocked if it were that easy. I don’t think this has to be a concerted push by the whole team. Someone (Boat? I’ll know in a bit when I’m back at computer) pointed out the possibility that it’s ghug and damo trying to make something happen with two giga AFK people. I’d be more likely to bet on your swords theory than either of lfischl or BK right now

if swords is mafia then rivera has done the most work to
keep reminding us that swords isnt scummy and theres plenty of time to kill a lurker and that swords isnt a priority.
