Original thought while I am taking my coffee before starting to work: Eden is scum. I know he is making big cases and such, but it just doesn't feel like town Eden I remember, there is something missing. Town Eden with a scum case on Ghug would be spamming the thread to get him DKed.

The worcej post is strange. It looks like it should have been said in set up. Therefore I assume it was in response to a query. There was no public GM call so almost certainly not this was a result of a question from scum and they did not use RB because of the danger in creating a clear.

ghug is another one worth discussing.

this is the first point I can find, a little under 3.5hrs out, where ghug clearly spells out his view of the day:

Eliminating people I think are town/new/good, I think I want to kill in the following (in column-major order rather than purely alphabetical):
damo
Bona
Bozo
Boat
lfischl

Could maaaybe be talked into Bunny or Eden.

(It's worth noting that this isn't a preference list, beyond that Bunny and I were lower; ghug was poking fun at damo's alphabetical sorting by finding an arbitrary way to sort his list so that damo was at the top.)

I oblige shortly under 2 hrs out, and the votes don't move for a while, before ghug pulls his vote and votes for damo with 1:20 left, which puts Bona out of the lead and damo on top. It's unexplained (beyond "I'm bored"), but ultimately not too weird, since he has both players in his kill pool.

He then has two completely bizarre vote changes from my perspective, and I'm probably biased in how much I care about them because they sure looked like they were in reaction to me:

(current count: Chaqa 4, Bona 3, Boat 3, various others 1)

so, what, he wants Bona to die, but he doesn't want his hands dirty? but it's super important that I, specifically, be the one to kill him, because the moment I leave - which brings Bona down to 2 votes, but as the count illustrates, still clearly leaves him in contention - he comes back. or maybe more accurately, he's trying to juggle keeping Bona in contention without having to ice Bona himself.

Topping off the weirdness, he finally lands on killing Bunny during the final minute deluge, even though he's seemingly been considerably more interested in killing Bona throughout the final hours of the day.

I'm led to one of two conclusions, both of which lead me to suspect ghug:

1. ghug and Bona are a pair, and ghug was trying to keep his options open to vote Bona if he needed to do so, while ultimately preferring to kill someone else. obviously this makes ghug and Bona mafia if true.
2. ghug just wasn't very invested in how the day went (you'll notice his pool of kills is pretty close to a consensus of the killable names left), and bounced around because ??? reasons. this is highly suggestive of town Bona.

Ok I actually went back and read this because it's apparently resonating with people, and... OK?

I think the best tidbit here is the bit about my list being a bunch of killable names, since that is something I could see scum doing, but that's not even the focus of this argument.

1. is patently absurd. Half-bussing is stupid; either you commit to killing your teammate or you don't work to kill them. Building a wagon against a teammate and then leaving it is lose-lose: either you get your teammate killed without getting credit for it, or they're alive but you're linked to them. It makes no sense.
2. is also absurd. I was very active in getting what I wanted out of the day. I could have done that as scum too, but building a narrative that I was disinterested doesn't fit my pay irrespective of my alignment. I wanted bona on the block, so I got him on the block. I wanted Chaqa and Boat off the block, so I pushed damo as a counterwagon. I thought Bunny was acting suspicious, so I pivoted and made that my counterwagon. The two leading wagons at the end were literally the two wagons I created.

All of the voting is explained by my pushing, successfully, for the wagons I wanted. If my reads were shit, fine, scumread me for it, but all we know so far is that I was wrong about Bunny, which isn't unique to me.

You got anything better?

The part about going after easy mis-kill targets is what I find suspicious, but PE is doing the same thing, which is why I haven't ruled out you both being mafia.

The 2 things I find questionable about your explanation are pushing damo as a counter wagon to Chaqa and TFB, and thinking BunnyGo was acting suspicious. Bonatogether was already a counter wagon to Chaqa and TFB, trying to get second counter wagon going to protect 2 players I would not expect you to be confident are town seems more like a scum motivated action, and I did not see anything from BunnyGo that I would expect you to think made him the best D1 DK.

Right, so I guess that only leaves Ghug, but I don't feel like Ghug is scum. Maybe it was right but lacked traction because no scum would touch it?

I find this exchange suspicious. Saying damo's wagon dissipating was "highly suspect" seems like something mafia would say to help justify a manufactured scum read, and TFB apparently did not look into how the wagon dissipated before saying that.

2 is possible, I have been thinking about it, but I would not discard only one of them being scum.

Obviously for the timebeing I will stay on Bona for self pres purposes but I would like to vote PE if it becomes viable without endangering myself.

remember the game where he pitted me vs you and sabi was playing. and it was a multi faction game where sabi and bozo were not allied. somehow I had you as sure town and id made peace with it. and then bozo came in with a case that got me to change my whole perspective and I ended up eliminating you instead.

I think I am just a little paranoid of him knowing that he can and has done such things.
