Your vote for BunnyGo knowing there were 2 more votes out there, then bailing on the wagon when it took the lead, does not look that good.

What do you mean by two more votes?

You could have reasonably expected those who previously expressed a preference to DK BunnyGo to follow your vote, which happened in less than 2 minutes.

To clarify, I still think my Damo info vote is not a terrible idea. At the very least if Damo is Mafia that would clear TFB who is many people's suspect. I agree that if Damo is Town that's a very weak signal and is probably non-consequential.

But the reason I backed down on it was because of who specifically told me not to do it. The two people who made a case against the info flip were a 100% confirmed Townie (albeit a townie who killed a Cop in a moment of feeling personally insulted) and yourself (who were the other leading vote at the time, so the fact that you told me that my plan to push for a Damo info flip at that point in time has credit in my eyes, because selfishly you'd want me to go through with it to survive, right? Question for others: is it reasonable to give Bona Town points for this?)

Having said that, if I were to post an updated Suspect List, I am not sure Damo would be on it. I'm just content with a high-info Town flip in the absence of a compelling / high-confidence case of a Mafia suspect.

a. Said he was scum. Complimented me “I like this guy” after we fought about eagles. A few people (need to see who) were convinced his scum claim could not be trusted. President Eden stands out to me most in this regard. Was my strongest instinct

So in the last game, we caught lfischl being Mafia for calling out others for lurking and not posting while lurking and not posting themselves (at least that's what my original case against them was heavily based on for those who remember).

But ultimately the Mafia team won that game.

Question for folks who know lfischl well – given the above, would lfischl try the same strategy for a 2nd game in a row as Mafia?

Actually on further reflection, I don't think there's a tie together like I first thought. For clarity's sake, the exchange that caught my eye:

Bona had just gotten done calling the Bunny wagon "goated," so I'm not really sure why lfischl following onto it would have been "terrible." In theory, it struck me as the type of signal one mafia might send to the other to get off the wagon and be somewhere else (knowing Bunny would flip town and it would look like lfischl tried to save his teammate).

The issue is that I thought I remembered it happening earlier in the phase than it did, but it actually happened at t-1 minute... which is way too late to be trying to signal something.

lfischl tied himself to Bona pretty decisively down the stretch without a lot of explanation, which is kind of odd for a town to do, but only makes sense as mafia if Bona is also mafia.

Long story short I'm not sure what to make of it. I didn't like a lot of Bona's EOD so I'm inclined to just see them as a pair, but that has its faults obviously.

this is the low-quality take that i'd expect from a boomer

it's self-evidently a terrible vote, but because you clearly need it to be spelt out: fischy was AROUND during eod (he posted repeatedly in the last hour, which is like crazy), he failed to push his scumreads (chaqa and swordsy) at all. i liked the wagon, but that doesn't mean i have to like the people on it, especially the people who are hopping on in the last minute after watching the thread erupt

also i don't believe i ever mentioned (and i certainly never engaged with) fischy, so you need to explain a pairing based off one person posting things about a second that he knows well out of game

I was never that excited about the damo wagon. He was better than Chaqa and people were on him, so he was my preferred counter to you until someone else came along.

i understand your logic wrt damo's alignment and the boat man's, but i'd like to ask if it's impossible in your view that boat man could be scum trying to get credit for killing damo.

why cave immediately, though? you had several minutes, and you could always flip

if you don't think damo is scum (either by being null or townlean on him), how is it a good bet to follow through on this logic you've outlined?
