So, even with a lot of people telling it's a stupid idea to shoot D1 some stupid thug decided he is a town hero and shot our cop. Brilliant. And we can't even kill him because he is confirmed town.

I think I will take the night off and vote tomorrow on whoever defend him.
I encourage everyone to follow rdr's lead and take a break if you're feeling the urge to come in pissed off. This is a gut punch, but town has come back from worse things before.
I'm not pissed at all. I was confused by the personal comments, but I guess you have history that I don't.

I'm still having fun. To quote annoying softball parents, "it's just a game you nerds"

I was always going to shoot before day 1 was over if it makes you feel better rdr
Why? There is no gain from a random shot D1. Why can't you listen other people?

Ok Rdr is town based on his reaction.
ghug's reaction was incredibly townie too. I know he could fake the disappointment, but I feel like he wouldn't fake it quite this way. Going to assume he's town for now.
I've had a townread on brainbomb for awhile (which was why I wasn't really engaging with you when you were wondering that brain lol)

and I'm going to follow him on ##Vote Bunnygo

I'm also going to take a bit of a break for a few hours from posting since I imagine people are angry/disappointed in me, so I'll disappear until people forget why they're disappointed in me.

Bunny, do you have a scumread yet? Or is the Chaqa vote developed to being a real vote?
I was starting to...but you're now clear...

Bona and Chaqa are now my top "at least they'll be gone" votes.
Do think Bona is scum, or that he's posting too much?
who can tell? He's just manic in every game

After some reflection this doesn't actually change my view of the game much, it just means the game got way harder to win.

I agree with Flum RE: ghug and rdr. I think brain's and Bona's reactions were townie as well. Bona's reaction was my first instinct, brain's reaction was where I ended up after thinking it through for a bit. Add the rookies in from earlier reads, and I've at least got a good town pile out of this mess.

I hate Chaqa's reaction even knowing full well it's somewhere between 95% and 100% sure to be a joke. He's taking the bit of not wanting to be here way too far for my liking. I'm happy with where my vote is for now but open to basically any non-lurker/inactive vote not mentioned above

Do you really think so? He said he was scum, so I'm voting for him. If he's town and joking and dies, then I'll start getting upset that my first game really was ruined.

If he's not joking, we're idiots to not vote him out.

In either case, I know that saying "I'm scum and telling you to even it out" is bad townie behavior. Don't have to be experienced to know that much

I should say for context, that the game BK just gm'd had a scum member publicly admit D1, D2, D3 that she was scum. And nobody believed her.

I know him well enough to know he would joke like this.

You're also 100% correct that it's bad form and that the correct policy move is to oblige him by killing him

##GM STUFF
The years around 1200 ce mark a significant turning point in the history of warfare in India, due to the decisive campaigns waged in northern India by the Ghurids of Afghanistan and the concomitant introduction of new forms of military culture from the eastern Islamic world. While limited parts of India’s periphery had been under Islamic rule long before this time, it was only under the Ghurids that Islamic control was established in the core region along the Ganga and Yamuna rivers (the “Ganga-Yamuna Doab”). A series of decisive battles was carried out here between 1192 and 1206, under the direction of Quṭb al-Dīn Aybeg, a Turkish slave commander (ghulām) in the service of the Ghurid sultan Mu‘izz al-Dīn Muḥammad bin Sām. Even after Mu‘izz al-Dīn’s death in 1206, Aybeg remained in India controlling the newly acquired Ghurid territories from his base in Lahore in the Punjab.
They were, at times, considered an almost mythological nation, referred to in some literature as , ‘The Old Men of the Mountain.” However, in the last century and a half, archaeological evidence has accrued clarifying the shifting boundaries, and origins of the legendary leaders. Also, Napoleon Bonatogether mentioned the Ghurids twice in his memoirs. Once, in a reference to the battles aforementioned, and once in an insulting manner.

At the end of the day, the only thing differentiating scum from town is knowledge. Nobody but Jamie knew he was cop. Nobody but Jamie and scum knew he was town. Jamie knew nothing but that he was cop.
did you read my post

Then don't be a bad influence. Iso considered harmful.
ghug considered nonpositive impact on the game
what does this ISO mean?
it means ignoring everyone except the most Important perSOn in the thread so view their thoughts in their pure untrammeled state
