Rules

1. Only yes/no objective questions may be asked.
2. If the answer is unclear, question master must clarify why.
3. One guess per person does not count against the total, but additional guesses by the same person do. After all 20 questions are up, three total guesses are allowed regardless of whether guesser has previously guessed.
4. Please choose persons real or fictional that are not horribly obscure. No repeats.
5. Whoever guesses correctly takes over from the previous question master. If they do not want to do it, they may choose who to pass the duty onto or just give it to the first volunteer.
6. If the question master remains undefeated three times in a row, on the third time they must either pass it to a person of their choice, or the first volunteer takes over.

Good luck!

1. real
2. male
3. non-english native language
4. unknown to wikipedia for him speaking a second (or more) language(s)
5. dead

Hmm ... thinking about point 4, that doesn't mean he couldn't have spoken more languages, just it isn't included on his wikipedia ... maybe because it isn't relevant, maybe for that type of guy it's normal to speak different languages? (that isn't a question for the game master btw, just an open thought towards the players, so don't count it)

I kinda feel we deal with someone from an ancient past here, but I shouldn't let my hunches dictate my guesses, though I believe the question below will help us here. Well maybe I'm wrong, but in that case ~500 years is a good area to work with (I already changed it from my initially guess of 400 AD/CE).

Was the date of birth of this person before the 1st of January 1500 AD/CE (in the Gregorian calendar)?

No. Sorry to dash your hopes, but he’s not ancient.

Was this man an entertainer (including actor, music man, poet, comedian, painter, sculptor, magician, circus performer, competitive eating champion, or writer of fiction) ?

Although he could conceivably fit some of those descriptions depending on interpretation, I would not call him an entertainer.
