I was a Spartan I think. Or some guy with a big hammer rod thing. I was going around busting up stuff. Im only level 17 or something. My character looked like a total douche.

Squiggs seems a bit more reactive than usual. I fully disagree with y2k. I didnt see anything that looked very sincere from squiggs. Im used to being very comfortable reading his posts and I felt much more unsettled. He initially did appear to scumread me and said that im making good points. But he very quickly dodged that line of dialogue. Almost makes me think he was agreeing that shooting bozo-chaqa-nd would all be good choices

I should be trying to find a group in WoW to raid with, but I'm going to grind mah dick off in Path of Exile instead trying to get new gear while lazily refreshing the thread. No brain speak means it'll likely be a slow night.

I know im talking alot. But I had 1 other theory that scum all talked in QT about voting to look like they thought it was day. Scum would be first to realize its night.

If thats true then ghug-flash-snowy all feigned ignorance about gamestate to try to get townspewed. Ghug did read the setup. So im a bit surprised he didnt know it was night. I didnt realize it was night until people started voting. I was mid post about to ask why ghug and durga werent annoyed and I refreshed my other browser and sure enough it was a xpost.

Very curious why all 3 of them tried to vote. Maf chat was OPEN. So that may have been a plan.

Xorxes plan is absolute dogshit. Claiming guns reduces the PR pool and increases odds of finding docs and the 1shot cop guy for scum.

I do not think this is a good argument against the cannons claiming, the doc and cop items are one use only. Also, Durga has already claimed to have a cannon, so that must be taken into consideration.

The docs are guaranteed towns that can keep doc'ing untill they actually save someone. Scum are looking at up to four of their nightkills being stopped this game if they cannot figure out who has the armor/doc.

Durga is probably fake-claiming because she is smart enough to realize you cannot fire a stolen gun in this setup.

That does make the docs more powerful. However, there is no use debating xorxes plan further since most players never expressed an opinion on it, so there is no way to get a consensus one way or the other.

The only thing concerning reveals that I could see having merit would be from those that are town-clearing, but letting scum know where those items are would be a major downside to that.

A bigger downside is if they shoot one of the potential clears without giving them a chance to claim.

If we vote for one of the five PCs (potential clears) they should say they are one of the 5 without saying which one, then the nurses can protect them and we keep them safe for tonight. If they lie then we caught scum that will be exposed sooner or later.

I think this was a good point, so whenever a town with a cannon decides to fire, I think they should do what Durga has done and claim the cannon and announce their target. This is also a good reason why town should not fake claim cannons.

xorxes, that sounds to me like something that mafia could hijack even if both cannons are town.

That's one of the cons, yes, if the thief is with Mafia for example. But we could make the thief claim as well perhaps.

The advantage of knowing who they will shoot is that if we happen to vote for scum and they don't shoot them then we may have two scum caught. Also we can avoid them shooting one of the potential clears.

Is there any harm in town claiming thief anyway?

What do you guys think we should do with investigative item. Have them use it right away? Wait? Should they out any scan result? How do we feel about giving investigator good scan ideas. Who should be scanned

@brain: When I posted that, you had stated you were not gonna be very active due to night start which is what I was basing off of. You’ve actually been normal in that respect.

I don’t really have many observations on the game that are beneficial to provide. All we are doing is providing scum info to help them find a target based on slips on what we are holding, outright claims, while they huddle in their QT like a bunch of overcharged furbys.
