So I want to cover myself from such accusations beforehand. I can't speak perfect English. I know mafia!me could just slip words by accident but there is a high chance that it was just a bad choice of words.

I think rdr knows the difference between 'I claim' and 'I will claim' however as Bozo has pointed out rdr has previous. However I am leaving my vote as it is.

I read it as "I will now claim", if that makes sense.

Well upon the quick look, Balki asked for a fake reads list.

20 minutes later ghug drops 13 possible reads. Did ghug write those on their own? Were they copied from somewhere, and if so, where from?

Then a very brief exchange about how some good interchange to look towny or scummy.

I don't know if that post really has a lot of relevance.

Most of my posts today have been copied from ghug's list.

This wording feels a little too trusting to me and not suspicious enough. It might be a sign that Damo knows my alignment.

I read it as a speculative "gutsy crazy play by mafia to claim since it could be counterclaimed; probably a town statement." I know it's a bad paraphrase but I think that's the gist of what Damo is saying and I don't think it's necessarily a sign that Damo knows your alignment.

Townies are groping around in the dark. They are usually characterized by more suspicion. Damo has played with me before, and probably considers me a tricky little scumbucket when I'm scum. I would imagine Town!Damo might show a bit more paranoia towards me than assuming I am town based on a role claim halfway through Day 1.

If Damo is scum, he knows my alignment and doesn't have to "worry" about me in that way. I generally am unlikely to be mischopped any time soon, so it's an easy thing to do to say "I assume Balki is Town" when it's Scum!Damo.

This isn't conclusive by any means, but it makes me feel like Damo is more likely to be scum than a random vote.

Yes, you’re reading him for noticing a thing about you and extrapolating from there. It’s not an awful read; it’s just an awful way to gather your reads and I used you as an example to make a point that supersedes this game.

To answer the question you started to ask and then stopped, yes I also noticed and it’s why I haven’t voted for you or actually pressed you on, well, anything despite several opportunities. You’re either obviously town or mafia sticking your neck out so hilariously far that you’ll fall off the cliff at some point. But I am leaning the former.
