Oh wait! I have another thought on players. You should never kill koalas, or vote to kill koalas. Being a koala-killer is a truly horrible thing to do, and should always be avoided if you have a shred of decency in your heart.

I don't know if Balki claim is true or not but I strongly think he is town. Don't see any reason for scum to fake claim about it at this moment. Don't know if the claim is a benefit for town, it depends on a lot of variables, but it's a good way to be sure you stay alive longer, which I can see Balki thinking it's a huge benefit (to him).

I think there are potential benefits as mafia, especially if it gets town credit as something mafia would be unlikely to do.

True, but it could backfire badly to Mafia if there is a real CWV that get exposed or even if other PRs are exposed and it's clear there is no CWV. But you have a point it's a way to get some initial credit. But I still don't think it's the case.

Chaqa is consistently trying to manipulate the group's decision-making process by sowing confusion and discord.

The Chaqa post did seem to come out of no where in my opinion, but that makes me more likely to town him D1 then scum him.

I think fake claiming CWW as mafia would be too risky so until any evidence to the contrary I assume Balki is town.

mafia/claim benefit: avoid town visits, potentially draw out real CWV
mafia/claim detriment: looks suspicious when claim is revealed as fake

Thinking about this again, mafia/claim might be a strategic if Balki thought it is worth the risk: if there is no CWV, nobody will counterclaim and this doesn't only give him town credits but also prevents any tracker visits. At this point Balki might just be the mafia member who will carry the NK since they know tracker would hesitate to track him.

It is possible, at some point rdrivera will draw mafia, and I am curious to see what he does.
