Re: Twenty Questions - Game 86
I think that we can abandon the alien theory. The only films that fit are a silent film, one of the worst movies ever made and a similarly bad movie:Foxcastle wrote: ↑Sat Jan 14, 2023 9:10 pmNot human, but looks human, from a work of science fiction... so not confirmed but I think we have enough to go on to not waste a question on it.JECE wrote: ↑Sat Jan 14, 2023 9:07 pmNot a for our question master, but are we sure that this individual is an alien?
I don't see that confirmed in the answers. But if it is confirmed, we should probably comb this list:

There are lots of TV options, though. We could in theory also be looking for an android/cyborg/etc, I suppose.JECE wrote: ↑Sat Jan 14, 2023 10:28 pmI think that we can abandon the alien theory. It's a film. Our benefactor clarified that. Androids/cyborgs I would argue don't have humanlike skin.Foxcastle wrote: ↑Sat Jan 14, 2023 10:56 pmThere are lots of TV options, though. Re: Twenty Questions - Game 86
Okay right now then.
Let's list, if we can, sci-fi movies and shows, from before 2001, where the title of the show was a character's name.
There can't be hundreds of those.

Excluding anything that isn't a movie and all British movies or animated movies, and excluding titles that only reference females, humans, villains, reptiles, birds, furry creatures, superheroes, giants, magicians, characters who can't speak or characters who are smaller than a human baby.Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Sun Jan 15, 2023 12:32 amOkay right now then.

How are you getting on with that?

Re: Twenty Questions - Game 86
Perhaps we should narrow down the time frame with the last question. 1990 could be a good cutoff, or 1985.
Re: Twenty Questions - Game 86
Free guess: is it the Terminator? (The one who was helping Sarah Connor, not the one who tried to kill her.)

Not an official question, but another idea I had was David from A.I. - Artificial Intelligence.

Re: Twenty Questions - Game 86
This feels like we've got a decent amount of good clues that this ought be narrowed down enough, but this needle still seems to be alluding me.
Almost certainly not right he's kinda human/kinda not and only has a little bit of fleshy skin, but for sake of getting in a free guess and lack of any better idea I'll go with ..
Robocop?

Re: Twenty Questions - Game 86
In his titular movie, was this character born or created on Earth?
If the answer is *yes*, I will guess D.A.R.L.Y.
