I don't think we want this, really don't like this. Depending on our behaviour, mafia would have a much easier time to predict who's the dog and I think it's hard to not let that influence the scan your reads.
Like if you suspected someone before and now suddenly don't with that name reveal you've just helped mafia.
Also it's just a coincidence you scanned ghug who was the target of the mafia action, I presume? Naah, I don't like this, not one bit.
This is one of the most useless surveys I have ever seen as it gets no usefull results (scum can easily fake a pat o a dead player like Ghug for example or there are other ways to avoid giving any info to town that I won't tell) and it will give info to scum because some morobs will disclose the result and make the pool smaller.
Bozo ain't a bad player, so ##vote Bozo
Assuming the mafia did not check the dog, they had the choice of claiming a check on ghug, claiming a check on someone who may or not may not be the dog, claiming they did not check anyone, or refusing to answer. If they did check the dog, only one would want to give the real dog as their check.
So, the useful results are:
1. the reaction to the survey
2. the potential for the mafia to fake a check on the real dog without knowing the identity of the dog

sheep could lie to protect ID of sheepdog if they find it maybe. but idk what would motivate me to do that. still working on wrapping my head around what we find out from this survey. but i liked the point someone made earlier about using everyone's reactions to the survey itself as evidence to go off oflfischl wrote: ↑Sun Dec 18, 2022 10:25 pmI mean one thing to consider is that while the mafia is definitely lying, what's the likelihood that at least 1 sheep lied

Considering the majority of players have participated in the dog survey, I think it is suspicious for Kakarroto and rdrivera to refuse to participate based on an objection to the survey. I also don't like how Kakarroto seemed to be setting me up for votes without voting for me, and doing so by suspecting my own answer to the survey despite supposedly not seeing any value in it.

bozo givith cringe reasoning
are not the scum more likely to lie (with literally no blowback possibility) versus singling themselves out by refusing to answer

well i just found his line of reasoning real funny, and he refused to give and explain a post that he actually found scummy after he proclaimed he found every post of mine on the first 5 pages scummy. also the 'it's weird that bona would guess bungo did the gm call' feels a lot like how i've been set up to die over stupid shit before. once i starting building a wagon on him, he ended eod with 'oh, bona and i just never understand each other'celaph wrote: ↑Sun Dec 18, 2022 8:38 amCan you say more about your read on Bunny? That feels way more newb town than newb scum to me.
Secondly,
It's certainly possible that Heart's a great actor and playing up how little he knows. But if he's mafia, then presumably he just spent 24 hours in a discord with two other players explaining their reasoning on who to kill. I do not believe that anyone spends time seriously contemplating their best kill and decides its ghug because he got votes.
Heart is town.
