I think we should put some pressure on the mafia and have everyone state who they dog-checked N1, obviously without giving the result.

I checked ghug N1.

I don't think we want this, really don't like this. Depending on our behaviour, mafia would have a much easier time to predict who's the dog and I think it's hard to not let that influence the scan your reads.

Like if you suspected someone before and now suddenly don't with that name reveal you've just helped mafia.

Also it's just a coincidence you scanned ghug who was the target of the mafia action, I presume? Naah, I don't like this, not one bit.

On the off chance someone checked their top scum read and found out they were the dog, I think they can be subtle and not give anything away.

thanks for answering. I think though that ghug isn't that kind of player to target N1, N3 or N4 maybe, but at the start, ghug shouldn't be a danger for mafia. I'd rather target a different kind of player, like bozo, or you, chaqa, I think I'd target even bo before ghug. The kind of player being able to lead town or have a spark of inspiration and rush down one mafia. Snowy would be a good example too. Come to think of it, I'd target celaph too before ghug.

Maybe I have the wrong impression of ghug here. Still, somethings not quite right here, I think.

3. what kind of survey

the thing bozo does normally (I think I have it answered in a previous post from lfischl) but don't worry, you wouldn't have known that since it's a meta-thing from bozo

some say you can read bozo's role from the kind of survey he does. I'm not sure I'm 100% on that but some swear on that. It's also a question to get a discussion on so from a total new player, do you think bozo's survey here is useful for town or might it be better for the wolves than the sheep?

I'm not saying I'm good at PR guessing but ghug wasn't near any of mine. PR ghug would be more hyped in his posts from my experience, ready to do stuff. The overall feel I got from ghug was hanging around, floating, not caring too much who is who, centering on himself. Reacting instead of activeness. What did you read there that would make him see PR? Well, maybe he baited with a wrong crumb that I didn't notice, in that case well done ghug. But who else would've noticed something like that?

I'd like some other thoughts on this too, especially from people who are good at PR hunting. Like damo. Who else is regarded at being good PR hunter?

I'm sure there are more questions that would be great to be answered but right now I can't think of good ones to ask. Everyone feel free to answer them, but I definitely want and need them answered by bo and chaqa and I firmly suggest that worcej and bozo also answer them.

ghug was not very active D1, it could be interpreted as an attempt to avoid the D1 NK.

It is unlikely anyone will give away the identity of the dog by just stating who they checked, and the dog is not a very powerful enough PR to be that worried about protecting their identity. I think the dog check has the potential to be more valuable.

Ghug wagon is a terrible wagon and has been so for a while. Was just hoping that he'd answer my questions while my vote was on him. ##vote Chaqa, though I could easily see myself voting Bunny. I think Bo is just a bad inactivity wagon and we should let the GM handle him.
