RULES

normal rules apply, unless i change my mind before game thread. any alterations will be posted clearly in the game thread OP.

we'll be using discord as per usual for dead chat and mafia shenanigans.

SCHEDULING

all deadlines will be 6pm central time (us). this site says that's midnight gmt. plan accordingly. sorry if that's late eurobros, i can't realistically do anything earlier.

game thread will go up at deadline time the day after we fill up. the game will start 24 hours after the game thread goes up. role pms will go out 1 hour before game start.

24h day 1, 48h day 2 and beyond, all nights 24h.

SETUP

flavor: you're all sheeple.

all roles with night actions can change their targets or cancel their action at any time up until deadline, but whatever i have at deadline is getting processed.

10 townies vs 3 mafia

10 town:
7x sheep - vanilla town
1x shepherd - 1-shot cop (once per game at night, you may target any player. at deadline, you will learn whether your target is town or mafia.)
1x sheepdog - 1-shot bodyguard (each night, you may target any player. if that player is attacked that night, you will take the attack for that player. at the next day deadline, you will die.)
1x squirrel that thinks it's a sheep - unaware miller (you will receive a vt pm)

3 mafia:
1x wolf in sheep's clothing - godfather
1x alpha wolf (me) - goon. presumably bigger, stronger, and more a e s t h e t i c than the beta wolf.
1x beta wolf (you) - also a goon. presumably the runt of the litter. sorry i had to be the one to tell you.

The Sheepdog:

1x sheepdog - 1-shot bodyguard (each night, you may target any player. if that player is attacked that night, you will take the attack for that player. at the next day deadline, you will die.)

So, according to this, if the Sheep-doggy-guard saves its target, it gets to stay alive for one day phase, at the end of which, it dies.

Question: Does the Sheepdog know they have successfully performed a save, and will die at the end of the day, or are they unaware of this fact prior to dying?

CALL KOUNCIL:

I have also been told (by Ghug, whatever authority he claims to be) that I am not allowed to sign up for Sabi's game.

That equates to a total ban across three games, not two.

Does this mean I'm allowed to put my name back on the list for Sabi's game?
