Re: M77: Poisoner 17er
Since I doubt that the list will get full before the 18th, I'll probably add my name to the list tomorrow. So if anyone has any objections towards me enlisting in the game, you have 24 hours.

Re: M77: Poisoner 17er
I've served a 76-day ban (and counting).
I'd sign up if I was allowed.

I was banned for swearing at you, if I recall. I am sorry.

Huh, I don’t recall. If it’s my harm to forgive, then it’s forgiven as well. You always did swear well…I’ve been trying to teach my kids how to do that (to my wife’s consternation—despite the fact she swears more)Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Thu Nov 17, 2022 12:38 amOfficially, two games.BunnyGo wrote: ↑Wed Nov 16, 2022 9:13 pmwhat's the duration of the ban?Jamiet99uk wrote: ↑Wed Nov 16, 2022 6:20 pmI've served a 76-day ban (and counting).

Alright, I got no message here or on discord saying I shouldn't join, so now you have to live with it, I guess.

you even made me take the unlucky number, eh? Ah well, whatever, what can possibly go wrong, it's not like any Austrian was ever responsible for a World War or something, right?
Also I wouldn't mind allowing Jamie to play again but I guess it's a Kouncil decision so it's out of my hands.

Re: M77: Poisoner 17er
I know more Europeans that are normally awake at the time than otherwise. Also, in contrast, we don't have mandatory EoN posts (even if I think that may be something we might want to discuss in the future), so being asleep at the time shouldn't be something to prevent you from playing.
There is however an idea that formed while I wrote this, like, if you know you aren't available at that exact hour (because of work, sleep, ...) but would like to leave an information post, would it be ok to message that to the GM in advance so it could be posted at the correct time? Or do we not want that?
Re: M77: Poisoner 17er
I do forget what it's like to stay up late...
Re: M77: Poisoner 17er
Mandatory EON posts sounds like a great way to make me never play mafia again
Re: M77: Poisoner 17er
23h of Chaqa being forced to talk about dates that cancelled on him though.....

Re: M77: Poisoner 17er
I understood the situation was that such postings were allowed, not required...
Re: M77: Poisoner 17er
yes, but bo refers to my added comment in the brackets of my last post where I kinda suggested maybe talking about introducing such a mandatory EoN thing (... or at least I think bo does. I'm not officially qualified to comment on bo's thoughts).dargorygel wrote: ↑Fri Nov 18, 2022 12:19 amI understood the situation was that such postings were allowed, not required...
Re: M77: Poisoner 17er
Oh, I remembered a thing or two I wanted to ask before the game:
##askGM : 1) for the order of the night actions, are the "remove from game"(renamed to not say the k-word) different options [like vigilante, poisoner, faction-action] all at the same time or are they in a special order (like poison, then vigilante, then mafia faction-action)? In case two remove actions target the respective initiator.
2) is the wording 'poisoner' relevant for game actions (like the target gets removed later after a certain time) or is it just flavour and works like a vigilante would?
3) if one of the vigilante is targeted by the jailkeeper when they had an action at that night (like N2-Vigilante gets jailed on N2), does that vigilante lose their shot or do they get that action on the next night?
Also, there might be not as many removals as the setup might suggest; I know it's very unlikely and town/mafia needs to get lucky with their guesses, but if D1+2 the poisoner and the backup were to be removed mafia only has one shot instead of two; same if the mafia gets the N2 vig on N1 and the N1+3 vig on N2 then there are two less removals for town; well at least 2 extra removals are guaranteed and the three others are reasonable safe too. But just in case that happens we would have a 11-2 situation starting D3 with just the jailkeeper as special role, I hope everyone is ready to face such a situation.
Especially with no hammers.
